    And I’m still not comfortable calling my fellow Lemmy people “Lemmings.”

    up until this point in history, calling someone a lemming has kinda been an insult.

      I’m cool with it. Because it gives me a chance to correct folk’s false assumptions about lemmings.

      Im not a fan either. I have been a reddit user for several years before I came here but always avoided the lingo wherever possible.

      Let’s leave it over there, with all the other painfully unfunny in-jokes and dead references

      Well, calling someone a redditor can also be perceived as insulting so maybe they can both serve a similar function.
