Depression can be its own diagnosis even if they’re common comorbidities.

Or, to put it another way, just because you have depression and ADHD doesn’t mean the ADHD caused the depression.

For the first time ever I’m in golden handcuffs and multiple times a day I think to myself “I should quit”.

but so far the long term reward promise has beaten the immediate gratification seeking part of my brain.

tbf, I’m not complaining, it is a good problem to have

Goddamn, same tbh. I was thinking about quitting for the last 20 minutes and then realised due to stock run up I have golden handcuffs too.

So miserable but the money so good …

I’d run away from my life on the way home from work if I listened to that stupid voice. I’d probably just be a Roamer.

I used to pass under the electronic sign that tells you how full the ferry is every day on the way to work. Every day I would think I could just go straight and keep going. And then I’d turn and head to work. Sigh.

LEGO quality control, they get a box of Legos to put together and have to make sure all the pieces are there and the instructions are correct.

I do not mind at all. For the last two years, I have been a process manager for the operations enablement team in the client success department of a healthcare company. I have just been promoted to a new role of senior business analyst in engineering. It’s a bit of a misleading title, they both kind of are, But I will be doing very similar things, I.E.implementing structure, order, accountability, and other project management type things in an engineering department that is severely lacking in any of that stuff currently. Client success is also completely lacking in those things as well, and I have been doing what I can, but I have had my hands tied behind my back by a boss who needs to take credit for everything and has no idea how to delegate or lead people.

River otters mostly. They have a vested interest in maximizing the amount of time humans spend indoors playing games. Funding-wise, they don’t have a many clams but they’re generous with the smooth rocks from their armpit pouches. They really aren’t shellfish.
