A large tooth comb I’ve had since middle school. I used it everyday until a couple of years ago when I switched to a brush better designed for my hair type, but I still use it on occasion. Not sure how I haven’t lost that thing throughout the years.
ETA: I’ve had the thing for over 2 decades!
At some point around retirement age, humans seem to cognitively revert back to children
I haven’t seen that happen to everyone I know around that age. Many still have their wits about them and see the current state of affairs as a clown show. Some are even out here on the streets protesting.
It’s even more wild because a few years ago, buying the OS on its own was half that price.
The thing about the stock market, no one freaking knows. The market has taken horrible dives before and has recovered. I also don’t believe the USA is the only country that should be worried if something does go down. The fact that some experts are saying things could be different may be worrying, but ultimately no one knows. All we can do is try our best to prepare for the worst. I wouldn’t be surprised if the protests continue to grow over the summer months in the USA.
Currently in my (I think) 4th year out of 5. I took them because I kept getting adenoid infections and wanted to avoid two surgeries. Has been a major improvement, but I still have to take an allergy pill every day and the occasional nasal spray. Hadn’t had another infection since year 1. You have to get shots every 3-7 days for several months and then they slowly spread it out over time. I’m once a month now. If you don’t have insurance it’s very expensive, especially the first year.
Personally, I think either option is valid. Not everyone is cut out for the fight, and especially if you have children, it makes sense for a parent to do what is best. I wouldn’t blame anyone one bit for leaving. I honestly haven’t created an exit plan this far, so I might just end up staying and fighting.
So glad I came back to Linux a couple years ago. I only use my windows partition to play a game that won’t work as well in Linux, and that list is pretty small for the games I play. Even BG3 worked great in Mint, using a 6 year old build.
I only use my phone when not at home. At home, it’s about 50/50 tablet/desktop.
Which is fine. Really would love to not have a fall happen, but ultimately if the rest of the world can thrive and move forward even with our current idiocracy taking hold, I can live with that. All I hope for is that this will pass and we can rise up from it.
