American here… 3km is just under 2 miles, so you’re looking at a 4 mile walk just to get to the grocery store and back?
I wouldn’t walk that, mostly because bringing the groceries back is the problem. Maybe if you had a wagon or a cart or something.
Closest grocery to me is 1.77km, I wouldn’t walk that either. No sidewalks all the way so you’d be feet away from vehicle traffic, and coming home with groceries would be up-hill. No thank you.

15·4 days agoSaturday before Easter… 17 or 18 year old kid was going on and on about how he couldn’t wait to get home so he could play Call of Duty all night, and this and that… lots of swearing, lots of talk about shooting and destruction.
Me: “I dunno man, don’t you have to be in bed early so the Easter Bunny will come?”

If you have both, and a timer on your phone, should be easy enough to check. Put the same measured amount of water in both and see how long it takes to boil.
I used to microwave water for all sorts of things before getting an induction stovetop.
Seriously, it goes from tap water to boiling in 2 minutes. It’s a game changer.
