I dont get it, because the phone is locked usually. So you rely on the faceID on your uncobscious face or a fingerprint if your finger?

Not OP but the first three things I already experienced today were: Knee and backpain, standing out in a crowd, needing to slightly bend down vor everything in most standard kitchens.
People who are using their cellphone/mobile as a telefon (calling someone) but not holding it as a telephone but as a slab in front of their face. And ofc with the speaker on.
Slightly better but still stupid: Videocalling (or Facetiming) with the phone right in front of their nose.
I mean, just hold the phone so that the speaker is at your ear and the mic is right by your mouth…
Cats are (at least genetically) used to much bigger and more open areas. So no, a house probably doesnt feel that huge like the relative bodysize would suggest.
I strongly doubt that you NEED a cybertruck.
Go with the smallest vehicle you can get away with. For moving house or buying a big couch or sth you can rent a bigger vehicle (a van is probbaly more practical in these situations anyway).
Smaller vehicles are just so much cheaper in maintenance, EVs even more
I think the molecular structure is very similar to a necessary molecule (fat or sth.?). So the PFAS get in the place a normal molecule should be but they do the job not as good. Something like that. Great MinuteEarth Video about PFAS (4’) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3aFzQdWQTg
Thanks, I might have overstepped my knowledge here, I’ll look into it.
Nato is a group of independant, mostly democratic states. Nato generally doesn’t kill people, because it doesn’t attack, does not do genocide and most relevant for the meme, it doesn’t redraw state lines.
If Nato would do several of those things, you might have a point, please prove me wrong.
Also the second pic is ridiculous. What even do the Nato-emblems mean? It cant be singular bases or single memberstates. So what is it? And what about russias allies, why arent they painted/highlited? If one would want to show the big allies, the BRICS+ states could be marked. But like this, the second image is worthless.
6 W of power but no AND and OR The energyprices have to go up some more for me accept that trade off…
MB is bullshit, the big five is the one mostly used by researchers. Altho as it is psychology, you shouldnt expect 100% on validity or other indicators
I hear that public trackers are pretty good. But if you have a lot to upload, getting into a private tracker gets you a lot of credit, so you can download more high quality stuff.
Thanks, sounds interesting altho on first impression it doesn’t seem too viable to mee. It reminds me if the “jury” some countries have, where a group of people decide, what to do with a alleged problematic person. Am not too sure thats the best way to do it.
And also the “I am not angry, just disappointed” vibe and love-starving seems a bit odd.
It seems hard to imagine in todays world. But maybe on a local level? In Switzerland we have communal-discussions and votes as local legislation, the other two state powers on communal level are elected. Thats enough politics for most people.
But what about bad actors? Surely anarchists believe, that there are “bad people” who want personal gain/wealth/possessions by stealing or through fraud for example?
So then there needs to be a (central) authority who can make enforce rules, even if they are trivially “natural” or democratically validated.
And for that authority to do their job, they need authority over other people. The ability to lock a appartment up to investigate a murder for example. Or maybe even search a house of a alleged criminal.
Or is all of that just the capitalistic way of dealing with things and there is an other way? Or do anarchists believe that problems of that kind wont exist in their utopia?
If there is a bad tone, Im sorry, not a native speaker and I am not trying to argue in bad faith.
Edit: Thats kind of the thing about the intersection of anarchism and feminism I find curious. (In my city I see stickers like “feminists for anarchism” or “anarchy: …, …, and feministic”)
And at the same time feminists want a stronger percicution (sorry) and punishment for sexualized crime, better institutional protection in labour-law and so on. In my view all things that are only achiveable with “more government”, or at least better government/laws and certainly not with less government/rules/authorities.
Isnt anarchism more scattered and small groups of people fighting one another over power?
Thats what I imagine when I hear anarchism
In German we say Sitzung or Geschäft.
In the country I live in, switzerland, I will rent probably my whole life and I am ol with that. And also my SO is quite a bit shorter, so we cannot just buy and install an extra tall kitchen.
About the two other points: ???
