The thing is I don’t think I’m supposed to be. They said they’d terminate it so I’m just grateful for the borrowed time I have.
I’ve been subscribed since the minute GPM launched the beta.
Thanks, I’m still grandfathered in at the beta price, but I mainly use it for discovering music to add to my Plex collection. The free YouTube is a bonus for me.
I know it’s temporary, I’ll probably cancel when Im asked to pay full price
I get ads on premium sometimes. I think it’s a fluke but def unacceptable
Someone did the math on Twitter.
There is about 2900 Linux gamers playing Apex.
So even if 100% of Linux gamers cheated it could in no way be the majority.
What I think happened is the dev team struggled to solve the problem so they used Linux as a scapegoat when leadership came down on them.
You touch your finger to your lip, what your brain “says” is that your lips are being touched by something, and the signal from your finger takes the back seat. You touch the same fingertip to your thigh your brain says the finger is the primary sensation, and you feel the thigh via the finger rather than the finger via the thigh the way the lips worked.
This was wild to experience. Thank you for the interactive educational lesson.
If Lemmy had a c/bestof, I’d be cross-posting. Thank you southsamurai!
VRR, HDR.
It also had an early patch for nvidia support on Wayland earlier in the year.
I believe mutter-vrr has gotten merged though, behind a dconf flag
Gnome on the laptop, its keyboard and touch gestures are the best for notebooks. I also like its simple design and reliability.
KDE on desktop, I’d use gnome, but kwin has more gaming relevant features.
Yeah but I imagine porting a JVM and an API using open source code is much easier than reversing the Windows API.
Or bring server browsers back and let server mods handle it.
I’ve rarely, if ever, had a bad time using a server browser.
A more modern idea. Put all the chesters into the same lobbies through matchmaking
This list is awesome. Unsurprisingly nearly every game has bad reviews.
They’re not even for denuvo itself.
I wonder. Do the shitty shovelware games gravitate towards Denuvo? Or do they install denuvo as part of their enshittification process
Its simple.
Pirates don’t ruin games for other players.
Pirates ruin games for the dealers.
I still move a 5.25" Blu Ray writer drive between machines. Just in case I want to rip or watch an old bluray.
Without it, we have to sit.and wait for the dusty Xbox One to update just so it let’s us play a bluray.
The Xbox One is so fantastically bad, the only reason it’s not in the garbage is because it’s not mine and the SO wants to save it
HTC knew what was up with the HTC One series. Their polycarbonate bodies felt Nintendo 64 controller levels of durable.
Lemmy communities have the potential to be just as toxic.
That said, the broad majority of interactions I have are very positive.
It really depends on the community choice. I tend to choose Lemmy communities rather than “reddit refuge” communities.
I imagine that plays a big part in my personal experience.
Agreed I would totally support emus using a business software license just because of how they’re treated by business.
I believe they do have their own emulator. It logically would be what powers the Nintendo arcade

All the dynavaps share the same rip so pick any one you like. I just use the basic stainless one.
If I were to get a new one today I would likely get the TinyMight v2. However I cannot speak for its reliability as I don’t have one.
