The “seen by project managers” row is so accurate it hurts. It needs to be updated with a caption that reads “chatGPT please tell me how to replace this person with a subscription”.

That certainly agrees with what I know, this is interesting though
You sent me down a rabbit hole wondering if AC batteries are a thing, and apparently they are! I’m still not sure if any of the sources I found are scams, but they seem to be physically plausible. Interesting!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's an objectively terrible movie that you love anyway?
3·4 days agois it objectively terrible if it was designed to be so. My philosiraptor might be having a stroke.

Good on him, at least he recognizes the need for a cleaner space.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever seen a man with a face like that?
25·5 days agoI appreciate that you closed all your open parentheses.
So would “Nose job” for that matter.
Douglas Adams couldn’t have written it better
Three friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they opened a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, the rival florist across town thought the competition was< unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. He went back and begged the friars to close down, but they would not. He asked his mother to go and ask the friars to get out of the business. They would not. So, the rival florist hired Hugh McTaggart, the roughest and most vicious thug in town to persuade them to close. Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he’d be back if they didn’t close their business. Terrified, they did so - thereby proving that: Hugh, and only Hugh can prevent florist friars.
You will have had to have been there, I guess.
Full loony tunes theme song.
In Spanish that last one says “and you are heart”, which I guess you could romantically interpret as “You’re my heart”.
Used to be Manjaro, because it’s got sane opinions and I’m not looking to make maintaining that machine a new hobby. I don’t mind the curated “almost” rolling release, but they’re getting worse about simple things (like maintaining their own certs) and I’ve decided to move on.

It’s not you. In this episode, Picard blue himself.
