Shattering the mirror doesn’t change what is reflected.

Hopefully those who have ears to hear will.
Emotions are important and allowing them, feeling and working through are important. And so is not reacting from the emotional storm, or immediately after it’s passed. Give the invisible charge in the air to pass, metaphorically.
No thanks needed. It’s a decades long process of seeking, for we who are conditioned from birth by the well-meaning who were also conditioned from birth, for centuries. But that protestant work ethic will become a useful tool, rather than a weapon of destruction, for those who join us.
We own nothing, nothing is ours Not even love so fierce* that burns like baby stars But this poverty is our greatest gift, The weightlessness of us as things begin to shift…

I think it’s important to discern capital voices, reactionary voices (regardless of sincerity), and level -headed voices, regardless of whether they manage to get money or not, in what amounts, although sources should be scrutinized. No one is perfect, but we need to evaluate motivation.
I see Hunger Games metaphorically like all mythologies, poetry, court jesters, Shakespearean plays, etc. And like myself, reactionaries tend to take things literally, rather than get a handle on their passions and channel them in more creatively appropriate ways, when opportunity presents. Something about luck means preparation meeting opportunity. But part of preparation is knowledge and understanding. It’s a long, hard, frustrating process for we who are conditioned into expectations of ease, comfort, and drive-thru results. There will be the five stages of grief accompanied by bitterness and many of our comrades will get stuck in the five stages, bitterness, and the way things were/could have been. I think those who are able to see and move beyond these things, accept there will be hardships and work through them to move beyond will be the ones shaping the future. The choice is yours. The choice is mine. The choice is our comrades. Choose ye this day whom you shall serve. A spirit of defeat serves the enemy, regardless of where our loyalty lies.
You’ve been such a reassuring, steady influence as I work through my issues. I’m ever grateful for it and proud to acknowledge it.
Oh, well let s/he who never had a weird sex dream cast the first stone.
Because it’s about as communist anarchist as natsoc is socialism.
Most straightforward answer with least inflammatory language. You win the internet.
Debates aren’t pointless, it is public discourse with what is meant to be guardrails unintentionally becoming skewers. One would hope someday people again appreciate decorum and evidence based discourse, with time out for more research when needed, again.
Maybe Freud in his primitive way, was onto something. Pioneers are rarely a finished masterpiece of their art or science. My question is, what is the purpose of this post and how does this public shaming of this particular human psychological experience benefit public discourse, or public materiality?
Attention span is cultivated, so is discipline. Reading about it is theory. Forcing oneself to do it, in increasingly sizable chunks, is praxis. I’m talking to myself here, too.
I’m thinking there are dominant and latent effects to any development, natural or engineered. This tech could have latent effects similar to uhh pedigreeing.
Let them pick their own damned cotton.
What is more, the masses did not come out simply to support a new regime blindly. Take the case of Niger: when the military leaders – who were primarily compelled by the unchanging poor protections and remuneration while fighting on the frontline against terrorist incursion, often linked to alleged French support – it was the grassroots organizations that led the call for the ejection of the French military and diplomatic forces, laying siege to the French military garrisons and embassy. These were not simply anti-French outbursts, but a profound rejection of a system that had for too long denied the people of the Sahel their dignity and their right to self-determination. The AES, therefore, is not just a military alliance, but a political project, a bold attempt to forge a new path based on Pan-Africanism, endogenous development, and a resolute anti-imperialist stance… The challenges ahead remain immense. The economies of the AES countries remain heavily reliant on the export of raw materials, leaving them vulnerable to the vagaries of the global market. The security situation, while improving in some areas, remains precarious. And the forces of imperialism have not been idle. But to focus solely on these challenges is to miss the larger story. The people of the Sahel are not waiting for a savior. They are taking their destiny into their own hands…
Every man and every woman is a star. Every number is infinite; there is no difference.
I’m thinking he’s trying the bibs tactic to retain office.
It’s their own fault for not being Google or chatgpt.
