  • Then everything is going according to their plan.
If we never fight back, they can keep doing as they please with no resistance.

“The revolution will be bloodless if the left allows it”.

The problem is, they’re already doing it right now and we don’t even have a rebellion to show for it.
If I’m going to get gunned down in the streets, I want to have earned it.

  • Make sure you buy one with enough cooling power to cool the room it’s in. If it’s a small bedroom you’ll want 5,000-8,000 BTU and if it’s a larger area like a living room you’ll probably want 12,000-14,000 BTU.
I just put a 12,000 BTU unit in my living room because it’s open to the kitchen and it’s about 550ft².
A good rule of thumb is 20 BTU per Ft², so my 550ft² living room/kitchen area would require at least 11,000 BTU.

  • Why come here to ask if you should do it, then argue with every single person who tells you it’s a bad idea?
It seems like you made up your mind that you’re going to do it anyway but you needed someone to pat you on the back and tell you you’re doing the right thing.
If you really need someone to stroke your ego that badly and reinforce your terrible decision, then deep down you must know it’s the wrong thing to do, but if you could just get one person to tell you you’re in the right then maybe it’ll all work out.
    Well here you go:

Go for it buddy, do your thing.

I’ll be waiting for the follow up post about how it went the same way, or possible worse than, it did the first time.

  • With shows like The Big bang theory I usually just put them on when I’m cleaning or cooking so I have noise in the background.
It’s not captivating enough to make me sit down and watch it but it’s not off-putting enough that I can’t stand listening to it in the background.
Honestly that’s probably where a non-Insignificant amount of viewer retention comes from in low effort shows.
