Seriously, what is the business justification for that vehicle?
Short for utility vehicle. Basically anything with a cabin, and some sort of bed or tray at the back.
Et tu brUTÉ?
Austrian. A UTE is sedan frame with a truck bed on the back. This is not a UTE. It’s a truck.
Austrian? I think you mean Australian there mate! Trucks are much heavier, UTEs are what you Yankees call “trucks”. It’s a UTE because it’s a utility vehicle and used by tradies and farmers and the like.
Lotta paper to haul. Does all calculations long form, fills all forms by hand, and bills at $100/hr
Maybe some kind of write-off that only creative accountants know about?
Any accountant will tell you that most businesses can’t write off tax against a normal car, as it’s not a work vehicle, so they buy pickups because vans are impractical for normal use
It works different in NZ.
I think I’m too rightside-up to understand this Aussie meme
Kiwis are seething
Didn’t notice the .nz domain name I see
This is, sadly, all too common in NZ.
There is a purpose. It let’s us know they’re overcompensating for small penises.
There’s a lot of misunderstood masculinity out there.
Only thing I can figure is to have more space for that ad.
Maybe growing his ASSets
Isn’t that a truck, not a UTE?
It’s what they’re called in NZ/Australia
Farms need accountants too, it also snows a lot on the south island in NZ so wanting a vehicle with 4 wheel drive isnt unreasonable.
But realistically the business justification for that vehicle is that I own a business and need a vehicle. You can have “the company Lambo” if you make enough money.
Seeing as he’s got a tow ball he probably has fun on the weekends.
I saw this picture and somehow instantly knew it was in New Zealand
Ute Ute Ooteeney!
I don’t know your tax laws, sorry. Ours say “my balls are attached to the bumper”
