There is no official news yet but Bunshun online leaked today (Japanese article) that Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) will be getting a live-action movie adaptation, starring Ashida Mana as Maomao and Nomura Kouta as Jinshi.
In other news, people in Japan can buy the author of the novel, Hyūganatsu, and eat them!
Joking aside, the pen name of the author is based on her favorite fruit, the citrus Hyūganatsu, and now they are collaborating with store “JA Miyazaki Tege Mahalo” to sell Hyūganatsu fruits from their origin Miyazaki prefecture in Apothecary Diaries themed packages.
