What could possibly go wrong?
Pawsibly
Cat’s got a point though, I didn’t know Atari was still around either
Kind of. Infogrames got the trademark after buying Hasbro Interactive and then changed their name to Atari back in like 2010.
Atari survives in name alone. The trademark/branding has been bouncing around who actually owns it for years.
I do quite like the self-awareness of Bubsy 3D being absolute donkey tonk. The redrawn sprites in 3D looks cool, let’s see if they learn the lessons from thirty-ish years ago.
I mean, from the little bit of gameplay I saw, it seems like all his moveset from the original Bubsy is back and they’re leveraging it well for 3d platforming.
Every day we stray further from God.
So wise-cracking self-aware platformers are back now? Cool.
Just need Conker back at this point
It looks nice. I just wonder if what made the 2Ds ones fun for me gets translated into 3D. I always liked the almost Tribes like movement of skiing and flying from the OGs more than any other side scrolling platform game.
The original game collection (1, 2, 3D, and… Fractured Furry Tales?) is coming out this year too.
Also, I guess their other two games, Paws on Fire and Woolies Strike Back are being kinda ignored here.
