It’s more difficult in Europe. For example, when South Park: Post Covid released on Paramount+ in the US, there was no legal way to steam it in Germany or Austria AFAIR. And these are not exactly third-world countries.

This! It’s very difficult to give good advice if we know nothing about the situation.
three-part series about the history of racism
That sounds interesting, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have a link, or a title?
I can reommend “Encounters at the End of the World” by Werner Herzog, it’s about researchers in Antarctica and what motivates them to be there. So many interesting people, and it gets a bit philosophical.
In my experience it goes well with eggs too!
For me, porn is not really worth it because I get addicted easily. Some people might be able to use it in a healthy way but Idk.
Taekwondo. Cooking. Creative projects. I’ve also done therapy on and off, 1-on-1 conversational therapy as well as Psychodrama in a group therapy setting. Therapy is nice but I wouldn’t say it is the thing that helped the most.
What’s cool about the Fediverse, as long as the censors miss one instance that federates with the blocked ones, the content is still accessible. Slightly OT, but some Mastodon instances are blocked as well, e.g. I could not access mastodon.gamedev.place without VPN when I was in China two months ago.
I don’t understand the question, what is the “web store”? A bit more context would be nice.
Usually not. I was in the same situation and had to register a company in the EU. That way I pay my own taxes, insurance and pension contributions. If you do that, make sure to calculate the extra cost for insurance/taxes and raise your rates accordingly.
Definitely watch that one if you are into food or cooking, it’s a classic!
I also watch that one every couple of years! Highly recommended if you like black humor.
Dinner in America (2020) I liked a lot
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It’s terrible and fascinating at the same time. What I took away from it is that there is an inherent value in things you build yourself and a moral right to own your creations. I know the book is flawed in many ways, but I still think it’s an interesting read. Wouldn’t exactly call it my bible, but I don’t think any book fits that description.
IMO the age gap doesn’t matter as long as both parties get what they want out of the relationship. I would give it a chance, but try to find out if your relationship goals match up. I’m currently in a relationship with a bigger age difference than that and so far we are doing pretty good.
Super Mario Land on the Nintendo Gameboy, and Lemmings on PC/DOS.
What? I’m never sure about anything these days. I just feel “I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant, would you be interested” is better than “I have to confess something … I’m totally attracted to you” That being said I’m in a committed relationship right now and it started with just spending time together naturally.
Because there are so many easier, safer, less awkward ways to check if someone likes me back or not. And if it turns out they do, I don’t need to confess anything, I just set up dates, or do nice things for them and see where that takes us.
I cook dried beans a lot and have to say the canned beans are different. Dried beans often split during soaking and the shells are harder. I think for canning they cook the fresh beans directly. About the pressure cooker, I’ve done this too but found that at least for me the beans are more easily digestible when you cook them slowly and for a longer period of time.
If you end up hating your job just keep looking and find a different company or position. Job satisfaction is so many factors, e.g. how well you get along with your coworkers, how much recognition you get from the higher ups for what you do and so on. The career path you choose now might not affect the outcome that much.
change.org doesn’t like my mail address for some reason, and they tried trick me into subscribing to their newsletter :/
