I mean barely… Most bank offices in Sweden do not handle cash at all.

I don’t really care, nor do I see it like a big deal. I’ve done my best in the past, but it’s also easy to say it wrong by accident.
Also, I don’t have the least idea what 2SLGBTQIA+ means, so I need the person to be clear with me what I should say.
We’re slowly working towards becoming right wing
Worse than Nasdaq losing 80% of its value? Highly doubt it. Tech companies were bleeding.
Out of all my family and friends, if I had to pick one person to save my life based on wether they could find the correct password to a site or not. I’d go with my 80 year old grandma. She does it with pen and paper. It’s a god damn blessing doing tech support for her, she has every little detail on there.
I mean, there are so many questions without a correct answer. That’s usually why you get into an argument in the first place.
Sure. But regardless, I used to work as a teacher. 15 weeks of vacation yearly, great pay (for Sweden at least). Worked about 32h every week.
I’m much happier today with much less vacation, longer hours and a bit worse pay (though it’ll get much better with time). Because I actually like my job. And I get to work on skills that I have use for in my free time as well.
It does not have to be all about getting paid as much and working as little as possible. Finding a good employer and a career you like is also an option.
We are talking about a get together once or twice a year here. That is very much something that is not only beneficial for extroverts, but also most introverts. The extremities between these often get a bit absurd when discussing. Studies show the happiness level of introverts increasing after social gatherings as well.
Not saying it should happen daily or even weekly. But yearly? That should not be a problem for anyone.
I felt like this a couple of years ago, then I went and changed both job and career. Suddenly I find myself actually enjoying what I do, as well as my colleagues.
A job is definitely transactional, but seeing as most of us spend 8h a day on them. I’d urge ya’ll to - if possible - try and find one where you can find some pride and value in what you do, other than the paycheck you receive.
It has improved all parts of my life in all honesty.
Why wouldn’t you be able to create relationships with your colleagues just because you hate your workplace? The worst places I’ve worked at, have had the absolute strongest relationships between the people working there. Because it’s basically been a necessity to survive the workday.
Your colleagues might hate it as much as you do. That can be something to find comfort in. And you’ll obviously never care about someone you don’t know. Perhaps you might actually start caring about a colleague or two, if you do get to know them.
Yeah. Even the largest leagues and teams are basically impossible to follow on anything but Reddit and Twitter. For smaller teams? Nothing else exists…
100% the other way around for me. My phone is the one thing I own, I use the most. To have a more fluid experience is worth a couple of hundred dollars. The hourly price difference is minuscule.
“Save the planet” is too broad. Electric cars can help with global warming. But may be worse in other areas.
Thing is, global warming is by far and away the largest environmental threat today. So it’s likely very much beneficial to lessen the burden there, while other areas suffer.
But you’re very much right in that it won’t do shit as long as we’re producing electricity through fossil fuel among others. With that said, the same people pushing for electric cars are also pushing for green energy.

People keep saying this about Plex, yet I’ve received one pop up about paying them during the last 6 months. That was while I tried to use a pay feature. Not once otherwise.
There are plenty of apps that I can’t use due to their annoyance when you’re in the free tier. Plex have not bothered me in the least.
Why am I not using streamio? Well, we have an Apple TV so that’s tough. Might get something else down the line, but I pirate to save money, not to save money on entertainment and spend it on equipment instead.
Time helps us get through pain, even though it often leaves a mark. For me, changing how I think about things has really made a difference.
It’s great to feel good, but I don’t think that needs to be the main goal of life. I try to see life as a gift where feeling all kinds of emotions is a valuable part. I hope everyone gets to feel the incredible joy of being in love and the comfort of a happy relationship, but also knows what it’s like to go through a heartbreak… Because going through different feelings, good or bad, adds so much to our lives.
Heartbreak gives us strength and empathy, happiness gives us beautiful memories, and love? Love is that quiet, steady thing that makes all the tough parts worth it. So I try to welcome every feeling, every moment, and every experience, because together, they make up our unique, stories.
Avalon works fine for me, and was updated just a couple of days ago. Voyager works good as well, though not as frequently updated lately.
I personally had 4 active accounts in August, until I settled on one instance I like. Very likely many others did the same, so these numbers are far from perfect.
I feel like the jury’s still out a bit. We had some insane development during July, then it steadily dropped off. Lots of decent apps, but not many being updated during the last month.
And they aren’t really in that good of a state, still many kinks to iron out.
Lemma is a newcomer that seems pretty great. I miss some sorting options, other than that it’s awesome.
If you believe data entry is 80% of the work here, you do not in the slightest understand the other ”20%”. I can assure you that data entry is the least of your problem. If you have the data, a script to enter it into a DB will be the least of the worries here.
That’s also why you likely can pick someone up on Fiverr to do it for you for a couple of hundred bucks. Or do it yourself. Want someone to build your app, even without the data entry? You’re looking at thousands.
And that’s basically what you will need to do. Pay someone to do the work you can’t. Look at upwork or similar sites.
I get paid $150/h to write code at work (horrible pay compared to many parts of the world). Why would I spend months on your project for less?
What do you think the response would be if you asked on a remodelling forum, how you were to complete your new kitchen? You’ve bought the tools needed, the material. Drawings are made. It’s just the last ”20%” left. Where can I find someone to do it? Well, it’s not the last 20%. The job hasn’t even started yet. And you pay someone, or learn to do it yourself.
