Usually less bloat ootb and less/no feature updates, longer update support. But actually I haven’t compared those Win11 versions by myself. I use Enterprise versions since Win7, with Win10 Iot Enterprise LTSC being the best version of all (at least currently) and it has support till 2032 :)

Nevertheless thanks for your work and I would recommend to include Dism++ and maybe use an Enterprise version of Win11. But yeah, versions can be easily changed with Massgravel’s activator.

This. While being annoyed by one of my grandmothers giving me bed sheets as a birthday present when I was around 10. I now totally understand and like it. Maybe rolling from stock Silverblue to Bazzite works better. Haven’t tested it yet, and I think I won’t, happy with my setup for now. Some tweaking has still to be done (can’t control everything with my Xbox S BT controller, getting it running took 2 extra settings in the bt main.conf (AutoEnbale=true and Privacy=device)).

Yeah, it’s a Fedora Silverblue spin, but unofficial. I have used the ubuntu spin (now deprecated, and has a new name), and it was buggy and then didn’t work because of the deprecation. Could have roolled back, but switched back to Windows for a while and Debian for my laptops. Now I only use Silverblue and have customized everything how I like it.

I tried the Bazzite-Gnome-installer for a HTPC, and it didn’t work (after-setup was/is bugged). It’s running stock Silverblue too now.

Ok, I took a look at the fixes in-between. Hope they’ll update soon. But that’s not really my concern. Everything sensitive is done in Vanadium or on my desktop with Librewolf (Payments, Shopping, Banking). Should have included that in my comment before!

Everything proprietary. Use FOSS, cause it’s good :) Vanadium is quite nice, but for daily use I have the Kiwi Browser. It supports lots of extensions too.

Tor traffic is for some ppl a no go. Better obfuscate it with bridges or use a VPN then.

Think of this: You’re hosting a darknet market and there’s lots of traffic going on your site. That Tor traffic can be used to find your server, which uses Tor connections and has a lot of Tor traffic. Oh w8 thats bad. With a VPN you can hide that lots of Tor traffic is coming from your server.
