Do you listen to The Grey Area?
I play a fair amount of games, and picked this one up because of all the hype. I probably played 5-6 hours, but the game just did not grab me. I’ve tried 2-3 times to get into it, but it’s not clicking.
Doctors should also not receive incentives to prescribe certain drugs

I don’t think they are running inefficiently. I do think they have more than enough money to keep themselves going for many years to come. Also, the lack of inclusiveness in the editing is the reason I don’t donate. Nothing like making an article contribution only to have it quickly reverted by some control freak editor from the inner circle. Wikipedia is not actually what it claims to be. It’s slightly more open than a real encyclopedia, but not much.
What should politicians do for first time home buyers? If you’re going to say give them money, I think that will actually only make unaffordability worse and drive up prices as everyone floods the market to use their credit.
What actually would help is if the US government created incentives to drastically increase the housing supply.
It would be nice if the GrapheneOS dev would work it out with the FairPhone folks to make a device that could be supported. I don’t know why any company would hesitate to work with him, he is obviously doing good stuff, but I agree, Pixel only is kind of a turn off because it doesn’t seem like a long term path to building something sustainable in terms of both hardware and software. It’s a workaround.
Play the game of turning it off most of the time, but occasionally turning it back on again just to see who viewed your profile. Then, turn it back off again.
They did have this feature when they first launched the main feed. People thought it was creepy and rebelled, so they removed it.
There were signs it was coming, but I didn’t really accept it. When it did happen it was pretty distressing, but I had been planning to leave anyway. It ended up working out because I got to leave with some extra runway. They gave us 60 days notice, during which time we collected paychecks. I didn’t work at all during this time though. Instead I searched for a job. At the end of the 60 days we got about 6 weeks worth of pay, a prorated bonus, and our vacation days. I ended up finding a job that paid 3x as much before my 60 days were up and was able to pocket the severance money rather than live off it.
I just built my first gaming PC, which is the first gaming rig I’ve owned in 20 years. I did so because I could install all the games I wanted to play on Linux. I haven’t installed Windows and do not plan to.
Games were $60 20 years ago. It’s been a long time.
Almost all bottled water is loaded with microplastics. Ideally, drink water from a filtered tap.
Yeah, there shouldn’t be health insurance, just health care. Some things are uncertain like whether you get in a car accident, or whether a weather event causes damage to your house. Health problems are not uncertain. People will all have them. Just spend the money on training and hiring doctors and nurses to treat these issues in a large enough quantity that the care is sufficient.
Agree, if I scroll past it and someone looking over my shoulder is going to call me a weirdo, it should be NSFW.
It was surprisingly very good.
