Nothing seemed to stick for me. The server was fine though. Just didn’t intrigue me

Conan Exiles is one of my favorite games. I got invited to the beta for this. And I tried 3 different times to enjoy myself and just couldn’t. Kind of sad. It looked like it could have been cool.

I built a make anything machine pretty quickly in this one and robbed all the fun from the game after that…

I had fun up to that point but it felt “solved” then.

It’s a really cool update to the OG game though. Worth the entry fee. Glad to see it still getting better all the time.

I honestly believe that a little silly good like this is why Discord is named so, instead of discourse.

Yeah I don’t want to watch while like that. I’ll watch the Gundam series’ without the kid pilots. While well done, I just don’t need children to be used like that. Heck even with Friren I was kind of annoyed that Fern and what’s his face were kids. Fern grows up and is 18 a bit into it but still…

I just don’t consume much media for the moral lesson or the tough ethical dilemma questions anymore. I just want to have a good time with what little time I do have for it.

I just don’t want to watch another anime about the chosen child having to go to battle when adults are around and can do it for them. Old people sitting around while a bunch of 12yo are going on a world saving “adventure”.

You can consume whatever media you like, I prefer not having this in mine.

This is kind of an odd comment onin a thread about things that exist in reality that we don’t want to see…

My favorite game on a long long time. It’s amazing. It would be lying to say it’s perfect and has no flaws but it’s damn close!

I’m a perfect game sure, but most of these are far from perfect. They often don’t explain mechanics, rely heavily on changing Metas, RNG, pure chance, reflexes that some people just will not have no matter what their attitude or mindset is, and so on. Let’s have it, these games are FULL of jank.

At the end of the day, the “pros” don’t need to adjust their difficulty if they don’t want to. More options is never a bad thing.

My degree got me into “real jobs”/career jobs. Before that I even with nearly 2 decades in IT I could barely make headway.

Getting my degree let me actually pursue my passion in environmental work.

I still hate I NEEDED to get the degree and loans and and whatever but it DID help. Also I did enjoy school. I like learning.

Realistic zombies: do nothing, it will pass quickly, or I will catch it too. If I don’t catch it I shelter on place for a few days

Movie zombies of any kind: kill myself, I’m not delusional, that world sucks and my chances are tiny

This game is a weird one for me. It kind of punishes growth or improvement to me, and neither are necessary or forced.

Every time I play it I realize I can just not have any offspring except when needed to keep the population at exactly the same amount.

Then you just don’t build upgraded buildings or anything and everyone lives a happy, safe, and stable existence lol.

I’m not sure what mechanic or combination of mechanics in this game specifically become the burden that makes me not want to expand but something in it makes me just want to start at beginning tech. The word snowball effect of new problems and challenges…
