I’m not gonna go hunting for it, but I’m pretty sure this has been studied and you’re spot on.
The worst is when the product is good, and you start deluding yourself into thinking that you deliver better results with that method.
Of course, but the point is that it isn’t a factor in Thor’s decision.
You don’t need to open source the code to release the server binaries.

You’re literally telling people “hey, this is a low effort comment” and acting flabbergasted that it gets you downvotes.

1·8 months agoI feel like what makes the most sense and is likely what’s happening is that ChatGPT is being used to do the initial translation, and then a human is auditing that translation and making adjustments. So just a faster way to get the scaffolding and grunt-work out of the way.

If you started your comment by saying “This is something I completely made up and may or may not be correct” and then posted the same thing, you should expect the same result.
