When I first heard about the brown M&M thing, I thought it was just celebrities being petty, or maybe a joke. Years later, when I heard Roth’s explanation, I thought it was absolute genius.

Sometimes, I see a quality discussion between principled people who care deeply about the issues. They both want to do what’s best, but simply disagree on what “best” is.

Their opinions can be so far apart, though, that they’re unable to even comprehend the other position.

I remember an interview where Al was talking about his early career. Madonna asked him “When ya gonna do ‘Like a Surgeon’”? They talked about it, and she said “But only if I can be in the video.” Al, who was MUCH less popular than Madonna at the time, couldn’t say “Okay!” fast enough.

Max. Better than Netflix any day.

I remember those! I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re still in use. I’ve never used the drive-through lane at my bank. I can deposit checks online by taking a picture of it (which still seems weird to me), and I use the ATM for everything else.
