they shouldn’t. everything should be rolling.
idk, but i would try switching of DRM/DRI (Direct Rendering Manager/Direct Rendering Interface). it’s X hardware rendering.
dood. you have too many identities. who are you even
Bomb makers actually sometimes die early when a bomb goes off accidentally. It’s not uncommon. Example: https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2021/02/30-taliban-bomb-makers-accidentally-blow-themselves-up-in-afghanistan-reports.html
yahoo mail also offers disposable email addresses
When your id says you’re 100 and you look 21 it’s going to cause issues.
You can use this to your advantage, by claiming it’s some sort of annoying mixup and it happened before. You can use this to sneak new info into the system when they need your help correcting the obvious mistake that you’re not 100 and get your dates reset.
lol, yeah, but when baking, the yeast gets destroyed pretty bad. i didn’t dare call it yeast at that point, but maybe you’re right.
Except, in cheese and some sausages. Also, I’m not sure yeast counts, because it’s usually dead by the time we eat it in our food.

It used to be button 10 (also counting 4 scrollwheel directions and click) of my Elecom trackball. I had written a small C program reading the device node and writing the events just of that to stdout, then piping that to a tclsh script (so I could change it easily and it’s still super fast for gaming) which did something in X. Horrible. But then they added support for more buttons to everything (kernel, X) and now I can just map it in games, like any other.
Those are special measures to not be blocked by those sites etc…
While I agree it sucks, because it doesn’t fix the problem at the source (the site causing it) and therefore reduces motivation to even do so, it makes the web more accessible for FF users, quickly.
Yeah and giving a potential attacker your account details while trying to log on?
I can imagine the project lead in the meeting: “Okay guys, we need to make the worst timer app ever, so I can sell my better timer app in the app store. Any ideas?” “You can start the timer, but need to be online and sign in with 2FA to keep the timer running.” “Brad, you’re a genius.”
People can just use a different timer, use a batch script or task scheduler. I once even made a multiplatform timer for my tea myself in Java that can go to the systray.
My point is: By making it annoying, they just drive them away to the many alternatives and gain nothing. It seems like some mistake idk.
dual boot them 😂
when you buy a printer, just look that it says it’s for linux, just like you would for windows or osx. people just sometimes run into problems when they retrofit printers for other OSes to work with linux. there’s a good chance a windows printer can work with linux, but it’s not guaranteed, so do it only, if you got one for free or it originally had been bought for another PC.
lol, that’s so stupid. why does it pause the timer? did they do that intentionally?
First of all, many webpages use Linux, so everyone is actually already using it remotely.
For PCs it is, because ppl are lazy and MS made deals with hardware vendors to ship it preinstalled and Apple even have their own OS to preinstall.
Android contains a modified Linux though and also comes preinstalled. So to some degree many people are using Linux on their portable devices, too.
