Fight it. Don’t be lame. Don’t let the conversation turn to mush. Say something shocking, open up about an out-of-left field belief you hold. Remember what fun feels like. Discussing work is never fun.

I smell another “lawsuit” that is totally legit guys I swear, and NVidia just happens to settle out of court with DJT to the tune of millions even though every laywer/judge on the planet says the case is without merit. Move along, justice working as expected.

I’m not lame so I won’t admit to anything. Anyone who asks me that (at a party) is an immediate red flag to me. “Hey we are all trying to unwind and have some fun, what could make that better? I KNOW! LET’S TALK ABOUT WORK!!!” ugh the worst people. Get me the fuck out of that party.

This is the way. When I had the same dream I took my RV to a remote, rural spot that was in my top 3 for purchasing land in (south of Mossyrock, WA), rented a hipcamp (airbnb for rvs) for 2 months… Views were gorgeous, land was gorgeous and plentiful, people were insanely nice… but man, driving 45 min to wally world (the closest large grocer) sucked ass. The closest gas station being a ~15min drive sucked ass. It was a real eye opener.

Not as severe: had a memory leak with dev tools open the other day that crashed the browser pretty quick… also got into a situation where youtube music was open in a tab and that tab ‘froze’ even though the music was playing, couldn’t move it or close it or switch to it.
