Space Jam.
Honest answer, much like typical shonen series I find isekai really boring and hard to watch. If I see “reincarnated” or “another world” in a show’s title it’s pretty much an instant pass from me.
Give me more DanDaDan dubs pls.
Your last line pretty much sums up my feelings entirely.
Literally anything.
Except Wayfinder’s revamped Echos launch. It’s like $20 and it’s super fun. Go buy it and support Airship Syndicate.
I will never be mad at more Jon Hamm.
I think Disney has the rights to Tengoku Daimakyou.
That’s so far my favorite part of the community. I pretty much exclusively browse the “everything across all instances” thing and a handful of names have become really recognizable over the last few weeks.
You’re missing out on seeing them getting roasted for saying tater tots are bad. 🤷
I have been really, really enjoying the reworked Wayfinder. The story is ass but the visuals, gameplay and music are all awesome. The characters are likable, the build variety is pretty great, and the devs seem to be pretty in touch with the community lately. I never played it in its MMO state, but for $20 it’s a real win.
I think the 1.0 release comes out in a few days, too!
That my dad cared about or respected me. After a family dinner, my wife asked me if he always talked about me like that and it just kind of clicked. Things like telling my kid, “If you play too many video games, they’ll melt your brain like your dad” or “why would anyone pay you that much” when I told them that I broke a six figure salary. She made me realize that this wasn’t normal and I didn’t have to sit there and listen to it just because of who he is.
I haven’t spoken to him or really any of my side of the family in almost two years now. Good riddance.
If I want to read Spider-Man, I would probably post the question “where should I start with Spider-Man?” on something like Lemmy and I’d get a dozen different responses suggesting different comic runs or artists. That alone means I’m not getting the full Spider-Man story.
I can go pick up volume 1 of One Punch Man and know I’m at the beginning of a cohesive story.
I migrated over to Lemmy a few weeks ago when the piece of shit Reddit app refused to load any posts but continued to load ads. I have found this community to be far more interactive, kind, and enjoyable to discuss pretty much anything with. I haven’t found a reason to return to reddit at all.
I think I’m going to try siding with the manga readers because it seems to be overwhelming “no” and I’ll watch it at the end!
I’ll let you know what I think. I’m really excited for this one. Thanks for the heads up!
^Paisley, ^which ^is ^a ^fractal.
Ooo, I’ve already read the first handful of chapters of the manga, so I’m not sure if that covers what is in episode 0. Do you think it would have been a better watch through to have it at the end?
My wife sat down and started watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure with me on a whim about half way through part one and she’s a bigger weeb than I am now.
I’m an open book when it comes to stuff like that. I’d 100% tell a prospective employer that an old goofy anime website was what kicked off my web dev career.
