Pack of 10 costs as much as 1 regular Gatorade bottle. More cost effective.

I’ve been remote for the 3 years of work experience that I’ve had. I live in a city with piss poor public transportation and detest traffic, plus I enjoy waking up 10 minutes before having to clock in.
The pay and perks would have to be substantial for me to consider working on-site.
Spending an unhealthy amount of time in Dicey Dungeons currently.
If you’re a regular on any of the communities I mod, I remember your username. Any new username to me immediately stands out.
:O
Curious what the process is like. How long does it take to ferment?
Ginger ale
When I got time to kill, I’m browsing through subbed communities and finding new interesting one. I also spend a lot of time within my moderated communities and and getting their daily posts up.
Other than that, my time is actually spent off-Lemmy – I try to find fun/silly/interesting stuff elsewhere to share on Lemmy to drum up discussions here.
Lemmy’s far smaller than Reddit was 10 or even 15 years ago.
There are some good foundations in place, but there’s a loonnnggg way to go before we’re seeing platform maturity.
I’ve been loyal to Sync. Few quirks that need to be resolved like support for Lemmy spoilers, but other than that it’s been fantastic.
To me they are social media.
You can also follow topics/communities on other platforms, and on Reddit you can follow people/accounts.
There’s not much difference.
✅ am lazy
✅ am couch potato
Felt like a great fit.
It’s been my username for 10 years online and I plan on sticking with it. I do go by LCP nowadays though as it’s shorter.
All. My subscribed communities aren’t all that active currently, or it’s just daily posts by me in the communities I moderate.
That’s pretty clever. I bought 3 for my family living in the same house…
I found them to be the least reasonably priced.
DualSense is $70 and comes with gyro, better rumble, mic, touchpad, adaptive triggers, LED lights and a battery (though non-removable).
8bitdo pro 2 is $50 and is a great Nintendo Switch Pro controller alternative – only lacks NFC and HD rumble. Comes with a removable rechargeable battery. oops is third-party.
The Xbox controller at $60 feels nice to hold, but is primitive compared to the above. I like that you can use your own rechargeable batteries, but that is additional cost that you’re bearing. The rumble is also from caveman times.
Ease of use.
With your one Discord account you join all the servers you care about and interact with online/IRL friends.
There are downsides that people at Lemmy will find dealbreaking and I absolutely agree with them, but the convenience of it being a chat, forum (almost), voice/video calling and gaming platform for free with (currently) no ads triumphs all of that for the majority of people, and that’s what makes it popular. It’s also cross-platform so no one’s left out.
HP Touchpad from 2011 that was given to me.
I try not to hoard stuff in case I ever need to relocate, so my list of owned items isn’t big. I would love to collect retro consoles otherwise.
We had guests over, and they made homemade perogies.
They were great.
Ah I wasn’t aware which script it was. It’s just one of the emoticons available in Sync for Lemmy.

Haven’t felt the need to use them as often. Emojis and “lol haha” work fine for me.
Fez. Got stuck and just couldn’t figure out how to complete the game.
For Hades, I beat him once after an enjoyable 35 hours, but didn’t have it in me to repeat that 9 more times for the credits to roll.
