For real. My TV and my tower speakers both come with these sharktooth lookin picture hanger things on the back for exactly that purpose.

Something to understand about ADHD is that it’s very much a “physical” issue. It’s a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts the signal pathways between your pre-frontal cortex (the brain’s filter) and the amygdala (fight, flight, freeze). Some people’s brains can sort of re-wire over time and you’ll develop coping mechanisms, but I’m 39 and mine sure didn’t. The stimulant medications stimulate various neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine which helps those malformed neural pathways function more effectively. It also tends to help with anxiety which often goes hand in hand with ADHD. Do yourself a little favor and read this article from Cleveland Clinic, they’ve been recommended to me by several health providers as a reputable source. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/4784-attention-deficithyperactivity-disorder-adhd
https://add.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/adhd-questionnaire-ASRS111.pdf ask if a LCSW (most licensed therapists) or really any mental health provider will proctor this for you. Don’t read it before they give it to you or it will skew your answers. This is what I was given before being offered medicine. Then when I responded well to the medication my psychiatrist was like “yeah you probably have ADHD. lets see how you do on the meds”. Good luck.
Damn, that sucks. Yeah it was called ADD when I was diagnosed as well. It’s all just ADHD now, but there are different presentations as I mentioned above. Also you can have ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder together now, which wasn’t in the DSM prior to like 2014.
Are you in the US? And if so did your therapist offer to give you a screener? It’s a self-evaluation that you can do, then you try meds and if the meds are effective you probably have ADHD. I wasn’t given any kind of initial evaluation beyond that. And also there are three main presentations of ADHD - inattentive (lost in thought), hyperactive-impulsive (what the media focused on), and combined. Each individual’s presentation will be unique though.
There are some cheap sprinklers you can make pretty early but they only water like 8 tiles or something.
Subnautica is one of those games that’s incredible hard to recreate. Once they started trying to explain every little thing about the aliens I completely lost interest. You may be able to bottle lightning, but you certainly can’t do it twice.
Stardew lost 100% of it’s appeal to me once I learned that the events just repeat year after year and there are no consequences for doing nothing. I really want to get into the cozy vibe gaming space but I just can’t seem to do it.
Please don’t pour fat down the drain. Starving children in Africa could use that bacon grease!
See, if you budget properly then you can afford to live on your own and have two beds!
DOCIS 3.1 involves more than just speed. No point going over the speed limit if all the traffic lights are timed based on a certain speed. https://www.cablelabs.com/blog/how-docsis-3-1-reduces-latency-with-active-queue-management
If your provider has implemented it (Comcast is the only one i know of in north america) then Active Queue Management is a huge quality of life improvement that you won’t know you were missing unless you already had a router that implements queue management. https://www.cablelabs.com/blog/how-docsis-3-1-reduces-latency-with-active-queue-management
By default, WiFi Motion is set to detect even small amounts of movement in the motion-sensing areas, including motion caused by small pets.
holy shit lol
I live in Appalachia and people here regularly use ham for weather reports but that’s about it. If there was an actual emergency I assume that would be sent out as well.
Pretty sure it’s an owl nesting box.
Yeah, we have a barred owl living nearby that would absolutely love that box. She looks to be about the size of a large cat.
MacOS stopped supporting 32-bit with Catalina and, according to appleinsider.com, older games won’t work on Catalina at all.
Wouldn’t the alternative be losing a LOT of old games on Steam?
Well mine were already wall mounted lol but you can just do like jaybone said and use wire to make it as far from the wall as you want. I just used some leftover speaker wire and some eyelets, but you can buy purpose made “picture hanging wire” that is good for 20-30 pounds or so if you want to be extra sure.
