No need to reinstall, but creating a new profile will usually act as profile is just starting from a brand new install. This seems to have worked. It still seems to be syncing some stuff from the account, but seems to work…for now. Thanks!

Thanks… I just found I’m way behind at Nobara 38 when the official release is now at 40… Didn’t realize I wouldn’t receive any notifications about full release updates. Updating now…
Just joining the discussion, because this happens to me too, and it’s very frustrating.
I really loved it. But way too early i realized what was up. I remember reading about the gas leak incident in some comic i read when i was a kid in the 80s, and my mind made that connection rather early. I still enjoyed it throughly, and I’m always waiting for whatever Supermassive is up to next.
Pixel 7 here from S10e. Still sucks. I hear finally Pixel 9 fixed it.
How can i get it running for Lutris?
Thanks…I guess I phrased my question wrong. On ProtonUp-QT:
-Steam / Add Version / GE-Proton / GE-Proton9-13 is available to install
-Bottles / Add Version / GE-Proton / GE-Proton9-13 is available to install
-Lutris / Add Version / Wine-GE (this is where GE-Proton releases are listed!) / Ge-Proton8-26 is the latest available to install
Not to mention you’d need moderation for all kinds of scams or even pedo stuff… It’s a risky one.
Thanks…I don’t think think I have considered rTorrent before. But this one doesn’t have a remote GUI client the way deluge and transmission allow their UI to connect to a remote daemon, right?
Regarding all the troubleshooting steps, thanks a lot. I’m going to go about enabling logging by default on the service, which is disabled and definitely doesn’t help. I’m also considering to rebuild the whole thing, since it’s running off of an older Ubuntu 20.04 container. I might as well take the chance to do it on 24.04. We’ll see.
The use of “liberal” has been taken by the right, from the neo-liberal they started with. Now they consider themselves the true liberals. It’s the good ole 1984 newspeak strategy of taking the words out of their original meaning to make them lose their meaning, and their ideas behind.
… Interesting. Never heard of these. How do you get it? How much storage does it have?
Just wanted to thank you, as I hadn’t had any luck running any other SD software on my AMD setup with Nobara. But after a couple of fixes to get rocm running, this one runs, and runs pretty fast. Thanks!
So, you are willing to give your location to Google anytime any app asks for the location permission? A lot of people is not. And there’s been efforts over time to get privacy-friendly location services. So there’s clearly demand for this, even if it’s still niche due to lack of knowledge.
Nothing to add yet, just glad there’s a replacement effort going, and wish them the best. Hopefully it will be in a useful state soon.,
I didn’t watch the rest after the first episode… It felt so… Forced.
People start contributing usually after they have used it successfully a few times. I understand “make yourself your own map” might not sound as the most appealing solution here.
I’m not sure what’s your pain point then? With Aurora you can install and automatically update proprietary apps. You can use anonymous accounts so you are not officially logged in (does this still work?). If you want FOSS, then fdroid. There’s more updating tools such as unobtanium, but seems what you want is Aurora.
Does it also send a poop emoji now?
The good news are on RISCV. ARM has even more closed source bootloader and binary driver blobs than x86 architecture. It’s supposed to be good power efficiency over Intel for a laptop, but not so sure about amd.
I just re-created the profile. It seems to have done the trick.
