This comment reminds me of telling a depressed individual to “just smile more”.
Iconic.
I assumed they meant they were just worth $30k when they bought them. That is a pipe dream that probably won’t happen again in any of our lifetimes.
“You build bridges your entire life and no one calls you a bridge builder, however you suck one dick and all of a sudden you’re a cock sucker.”
That’s funny that this is what’s causing the crash.
Not sure why but this post unearthed an old memory of the Sega Genesis game Cool Spot!
Looking forward to trying out the updated build!
Was this a few years ago? This is no longer true.
The past 3 years, I have shared the service with 3 friends, one of which lives in a different state and we have had no issues. You just add them to your Google Account as “family” and they login their own devices.
There is some weirdness where YouTubeTV gives you 5 family shares, but only 3 total streams (outside your home’s WIFI) can be active at once. That’s why I limited the sharing to 3 total.
You should give it another try!
Memmy is the best I have found. A lot of the issues recently have been related to instance problems like with lemmy.world. Stuff that Memmy isn’t at fault for.
That said, I am very excited to try the Voyager iOS App when it releases!
So you can confirm the swipe back freezing issue is resolved on the iOS app? I’ve seen people say it’s still there.
If it is resolved, I am very excited to use it!
“Sweet, an actual meme post not just more discussion about Sync for Lemmy!”
“Oh…”
All valid points! Still bothers me though! Haha
I would say its mostly organic since a good amount of discussion is negative feedback about ads and the paid tiers.
I’m surprised more people do not talk about this. Its easily the most annoying trope for me. Could you imagine hearing your machine beep through processing for 8-10 hours at a time each day? Its asinine to even consider anyone in these technology roles would deal with that.
I’ve actually figured it out.
Reddit.API replace with Lemmy.API. We’re in!
Agreed! Sadly, I have seen it reported that the actual app version has the random freeze as well. Hopefully that’s able to be resolved now that its an app.
