I used rufus as well to get a working install and it worked flawless.

Both just wanna incite violence and post hate speech about those they think deserve it. And shit up the internet. I agree that far left takes social issues that actually need solving but instead of solving them they just hurt the cause that should be solved through civil discourse, education and other means.
No one on far left or right is.
There is no reason to ever rate a game badly. If it runs poorly or not at all youre the moron for using banana instead of tomato. If you don’t like it cause the game is not good, its your own fault for making a dish following a curry recepie when you hate curry.
What are your issues? My problems were games on ntfs filesystem and secureboot. After fixing those two i can say windows is terrible and requires tons of tinkering to get things working as opposed to linux where you just plug it in and it chugs.
I had no interest in linux half a year ago and now I go around telling people that linux is less tinkering and headaches to play games and use daily than windows (cause it is)
If it don’t work on linux cause it was made for windows, fine. Console software doesn’t run on any os natively for example and I aint mad. If it is following the trend of “it works on linux but we ticked a box on our anticheat so it doesn’t” then I am a bit upset.
Steam vr works for a ton of people flawlessly. I only have jitter issues but most have told me theirs works fine. So ymmv as there are people on windows who have vr issues too.
Both have been seeing significant improvements recently or have been gotten working. You can test most recent fedora without installing to see if it works.
In my experience linux runs every game I want and has done it with less issues, crashes and tinkering than it was on windows 11. I constantly see posts from windows users about how some game doesn’t work or crashes while it runs fine on both deck and pc. Only games not working are those that are disabled by devs to scapecoat massive amount of hackers onto linux users.
Yeah instead give it 0/10 cause checks random steam review Marver rivals crashing randomly.
But fuck linux users for rating a game bad cause developers made a deliverate descision to block their system cause “all linux users are cheaters.”
If your group can’t take a joke, your group is a joke. Especially if it is abusive imaginary parent who according to you does everything that is wrong with the world in order to “build character” and overall rules through fear only.
I tried using the fedora disk image tool on windows11 and it bricked my usb stick despite it seemingly completing all fine. A lesser known disc image tool worked well. Most likely not conspiracy but with Microsoft and Intel colluding to ensure Intels dominance makes me suspicious.
Wheres your protests? You haven’t even tried to see if it gets put down.
How are you any different from an extremist right winger at that point? You want violence rather than solutions.
I mean if the game you paid money for is deliberately broken to shaft you, you are a clown for reviewing the game positively. Judging by the complaints of every game with linux-breaking anti cheat, it has failed to remove any of the cheaters.
I had a similiar tale. I just started programming course in uni and took the OS class where we interacted with servers a ton through bash. Then I realized I spend so much time mucking around in the myriad of control panels and regedit of windows to get basic things functioning and to diagnose constant BSODs that I might as well go to linux. Turned out linux is the experience windows markets itself as: easy and streamlined. It is just a lot less work than on the windows side once you get used to how linux does things differently. Overall experience has been smoother, workflow has been nicer and all my BT stuff and audio equipment works with less errors and bugs, while not requiring ANY installs. Once I got past the errors that windows would also get if you set up your BIOS and filesystems for linux, it has been smooth sailing on my nvidia gpu even. Only issue is jittery VR that I haven’t bothered to look into as I simrace on my monitor now.
As a farewell gift, windows 11 bricked my fedora boot thumbdrive. Twice.
I was clearly stretching the analogy of the person I was replying to show how bad it was.
