I remember looking into solar some 20 years ago. 5kWh battery bank was practically unheard of and iirc correctly was roughly $1k per kWh. Hopefully somebody with the time can come and correct numbers. Today you can find 5kWh battery banks for ~$2k.
Inverters I remember being about $5k-$10k for house sized and capable of running AC unit. Today roughly $1k-$2k.
Solar panels themselves I’ve not priced, but iirc I remember large arrays being $20k-$30k or more.
The cost to DIY a whole home off grid solar and battery bank system has gotten beyond easier, safer and an absolute fuck ton cheaper
I’ve had long hair for about 20 years. Hair tie is number 1, in a pinch though I just grab a locke of hair and wrap it into a ponytail. For the last 6 or so years I’ve had dreadlocks and it’s about the same, but I have way longer dry and wash times lol.
Before dreadlocks though, I found that more oils and products I used the more my hair fell flat, so for about 6 or 7 years I did the no-poo method and my hair liked it quite a lot. My hair was very curly and full, and could pretty quickly tell when my hair had too much sebum and other oils building up
Not entirely sure how you’d go about getting slicked back hair that also isn’t flat etc, but from what I know of my hair, I would try a good deep clean and trying a small amount of pomade just at the roots/scalp. Seems like you’d most likely end up in a cycle of having to wash a lot though, but not really sure
Derp, I can’t read apparently
Do any other devices work on the port?
Are we 100% certain the USB-C port is connected?
Only reason I would browse Reddit was because of the vast amount of information linked and posted to it. Given enough time and engagement from the Internet as a whole Lemmy will be bigger and better than reddit. We’ll get there but it needs everybody’s help.
I will say I’m already twice as active on Lemmy than I was on Reddit 🥳

Had to downvote but it really is an awesome game. Great physics and combat, universe, politics and economics.
