If it was public & randomly sorted to the fediverse Lemmy servers, I don’t see how it would be an issue

I’ve suggested something similar before and got shur down. Just sort people into a Lemmy server either based off their interests or location

As somebody who mostly plays WoW Classic & Diablo, plus ARPG like PoE and Grim Dawn - would I likely run into issues?

If you have a 5.1 system then I’d question the centre speaker or settings. A good centre speaker and you definitely won’t have this issue.

Back when I had just a soundbar I was experiencing the same issue. I added a centre speaker to my now 3.1 setup & haven’t looked back since
