I don’t think it goes on sale, at least not for any significant amount. To be fair, it’s easily worth the full price, which is not something I often say.

That’s the problem with the fediverse in general. It’s a lovely concept, but it’s hard to sell people on something that has 10% (if we’re being generous) of the content they’re used to.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If your family weren't your family, would you still talk to them?English
3·1 year agoMy dad, probably. My mom, absolutely not. Of course, I barely talk to anyone I don’t live with, and I’m 38, so I wouldn’t actually talk to either of them.
A better educated and less impoverished population is something, too.
I’ll pay for college for a large number of people and pay a lawyer to defend my action as not “giving it away.”

10·1 year agoDepression and anxiety greatly hindered my educational goals, so I only have an associates degree in accounting. However, the woman I married has a master’s degree in computer science and a good, well-paying job. Our first child had medical issues requiring full-time care for several years, so I am now a stay-at-home dad to two kids, guiding them through homeschool.

7·1 year agoThere’s little in the world to be anything but disgruntled about.
This just in: primary caregiver more likely to remember medical details! I’m a stay-at-home dad, and I have much greater knowledge about my kids’ medical history.
Congratulations, it’s an asshole!
