Well, if you’re doing static assignments because there’s no DHCP, then it makes sense to not use the DHCP range.

I would consult the documentation for what exactly it means by a request for “next available IP”.
I feel like if you want addresses assigned from DHCP, just use DHCP.
PDQ Deploy is pretty highly recommended.
I don’t think you can. That’s what the save feature is for.
Hmm. I’m not sure what the advantage would be over just creating communities on existing instances, then, if someone else is still going to be the admin.
Sure. What’s your plan for moderating content like piracy, death threats, CSAM, and terrorism?
Your instance is probably having issues.
Any chance of getting the link domain shown on a post in the post list?
That’s during group policy application, isn’t it? Run an rsop report against that PC and see if anything sticks out.
Also enable verbose logon messages to see if there’s a particular step it gets hung on.
And if you’re moving to W11, if you haven’t already, you should install the ADMX templates: https://www.anoopcnair.com/administrative-templates-for-windows-11-22h2/
But you should know that MS, in typical fashion, does not make the W11 ADMX templates compatible with W10. You’ll probably be fine managing both with just the W11 templates unless you’re doing some really specialized stuff. Just something to keep in mind.
MS does sell just-email licenses: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/exchange/compare-microsoft-exchange-online-plans
Or, you could probably just get some just-Office licenses for the 10, and keep all your email on the secondary server. Trying to relay half your mail sounds like a mess.
Reconfigure it to accept them.
Yeah, I’m on lemmy.world and the only time I’ve had issues is when they’re having issues. Nothing to do with boost.
Assuming that the account mentioned in the linked dev update post is the one that commented underneath it, you can see it for yourself. Go to the dev update post, go to the account page, and scroll back through the comments until you see the ones OP is talking about.
I am against the L4s bot, because it posts a lot of non-technology news. Twitter changing its rules is not news, let alone technology news.
Right, but going by the account that commented under the dev post, the first is the one we’re talking about. The second account exists, but hasn’t made any posts or comments at all.
Lemmy has separate usernames and display names.
The account is not an hour old. You can click through the links and see for yourself that it’s the same account.
Oh that reminds me, Voat happened. It wasn’t a code fork but a clone, and it was also filled with right-wing garbage.
Tildes is still around too, but I think it’s got even less traction than lemmy.
I use the browser extensions for convenience: https://web.archive.org/
