youre lurking too hard
I’m saying overall. If you want to convince someone of something you need to actually try and do it. What I meant is help explain to people in words they might understand better why it would have been more beneficial to elect one over the other. Also the level of aggression in political ads this election period was too much. Everyone was just running a smear and fear mongering campaign against each other and that really does not help us as a society.
Even if my opinion is wrong on this. The fact that the candidate was elected through the democratic process, should dissuade rioting. That kind of show of force should be reserved for situations where someone rose to power by illegitimate means. Now if down the line Trump does something terrible (other than speaking like a moron) I’d be fully on board with more hostile measures. Protesting is okay. Rioting is going too far.
My personal stance, however popular or not it may be, is to avoid unnecessary violence.
He talks shit but does barely anything all the time. The problem is that every time for the past few election cycles, the extremist supporters of each party that loses cause trouble for normal people.
Furthermore, maybe more Democrats should have been proactive in other regions in sending the message across. I contributed along with many others in my city to getting the word out and helping spread the message to try to get Kamala elected and it is disappointing to see it didn’t happen. But immediately jumping to the conclusion it’s time to riot is rash and irresponsible.
Also, no need to resort to ad hominem immediately. Was hoping to be civil.
This kind of mindset is usually the problem. It’s not as bad as each side believes the opposition is.
Hopefully no riots. I don’t care on whose behalf you are rioting, if you do, you are a horrible person.
Two Hearts in my ass
Significantly less bloat for sure. I do like that there is the MicroWin project that exists for windows though.
I mean, Windows does that. The Windows that came installed on the Lenovo Flex I got has really good adaptive UI. If it’s in tablet mode, the UI smoothly adjusts to be touch friendly and flipping works in any direction. That’s why I’m trying to find Linux that can be this good.
The screen didn’t rotate for me and the keyboard was very awkward on EndeavourOS
Anyone got advice for a Linux distro that will run good with 2 in 1 laptop (the touchscreen tablet ones) I tried an os and the keyboard was meh. Or alternatively, how I can set up an is to work best on a laptop of that kind.
Would be funny to keep adding more anytime this is posted again
That’s why you enable the end task option for when you right click on the icon in the taskbar.
Really though, this mf is brutal.
Me using windows on the steam deck to really make things confusing
Wait wtf that is their brand name?
Which ones better?
Because they don’t use these words in the title
