I’ve always felt that way about prerelease stuff. Give me a title, a release date, and in the rare cases it’s not a remake/sequel, a hook. I don’t need endless hype.
BioWare revealed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will allow players to explore much more of Thedas than in any previous entry
I know I’m very much in the minority here, but I loved 2 because it was so much smaller in scope. Origins was great too of course, but if I’m going to replay the series 2 is the one I’ll be looking forward to most. Inquisition was so big and boring to me, there were a million things to do but I didn’t care about any of them.
I recently got into making desserts. I end up with something I can be proud of, get to share sweets with my friends & family and satisfy my sweet tooth all at once. With $10 worth of ingredients and zero experience you can whip up a basic batch of fudge in less than 15 minutes and put pretty much anything else you want into there.
Average night when you accidentally open tvtropes.
The first security job I ever worked was for a rich girl’s 21st birthday party at her house, my main duty was making sure nobody went to the stables and bothered the racehorses. I heard one of the kids say that her dad owned 2 Toyotas & her mum owned a Subaru, and I thought maybe they’re not so different from me after all because my parents have the same cars. Turns out she was talking about owning the car dealerships.
I’ve had several people comment on the way I tie my shoelaces. I can’t even remember how to do it the “normal” way, but I use that knot that takes about half a second where you make both loops at once and pull them through each other.
Exact same situation here, I used Boost for ages and have been registered for the play store release since it appeared. Connect lets you hide individual posts so it appears to be possible, it’s the only feature I desperately want. I just set up Connect and Boost today after using Liftoff for months, and as much as I liked Boost I might just stick with Connect unless/until a hide button is added.
On work days I always get a good 7-8 hours, but if I’m not working I very rarely manage more than 3-4, it’s as if my brain feels like it’s wasting the day. I’m one of those people who can operate comfortably on very little sleep. I use a sleep cycle alarm that is supposed to wake me when it senses I’m only sleeping lightly or something, no idea if any of that stuff’s real/helpful but it can’t hurt. I also maintain a healthy weight (I used to be overweight) which keeps pressure off my neck and reduces snoring & breathing interruptions, that definitely helps with feeling rested.
Once in a blue moon my body decides to sleep about 9 hours longer than planned to catch up on missed sleep, but I either rarely feel particularly tired or I’ve been doing this long enough that I don’t remember what being properly awake felt like 🤷♂️
