Multiple times throughout the day. I co-work on personal projects with several different LLMs. Primarily Claude, but also GPT-4o and Llama 70b.
That’s weird it wasn’t in the job posting. Seems like they’re wasting their time talking to candidates that aren’t interested in on-site.
I only want remote. The company I work for was once extremely remote friendly. Like 75% of job postings from them were for remote. Now they’ve changed to hybrid or fully on-site at the word from the CEO and like only 5% of open roles are remote.
They kept me remote, but my interactions with others are much less remote friendly. I’m looking for a new job, but will have to be for a company that is mostly remote itself.
Yes. Be able to choose the right life insurance plan, investments, etc for my beneficiaries.
My boss does not give me busy work and my work is important, but I still phone it in.
Like others have mentioned, it’s a book. I recommend reading it. Also another dystopian novel, “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. Lessons to be learned from both.

Have you tried blocking the users in question?
Yes I agree—a big part of choosing an instance is who they are defederated with.
It would be kind of cool to be able to define yourself the function that decides this for your account.
Whether you have something to hide depends on those in power. The people in power now setting the rules won’t be the same in several years.
“Oh I’m doing ok, how are you?
Aw yep, that’s the other big problem, moderation.
I feel like peertube could really use some sort of Lemmy driven community engagement
Agreed. Lemmy and Kbin have been getting a lot of attention lately, and Mastodon is the elephant in the room. But I hear little about Peertube instances. I think they would be a perfect fit in the Lemmy universe.
The one problem I see is cost. Lemmy serves text. Peertube would store and serve video. Lots of it. That’s a big bill.
The “pay what you can” model from Piotr is pretty stunning. I’m glad the project qualifies for that.
The highest costs are servers. No surprise there.
Glad he has allocated money for legal and accounting advice.
I hope he can eventually raise enough money to pay himself.
Yeah it’s been fun! I’ve set up self-hosting of several fediverse projects and have learned a lot.
Duckduckgo actually uses Bing for search results. Unless something changed.
Agreed. I know that many moderators around here have never modded before, and no doubt some admins have not dealt with growth on this scale. Good job y’all!
The “yes” is selected.
