I did not see a reason given. Anyone know why?
From a non techy perspective, having what is used and installed being secure is a big one. I am new to Linux Mint. Mostly user friendly until something gets corrupted or suddenly can not be verified.
Looking for why is not always simple, and there are some explanations/instructions easier to understand than others.
I preface most of my searches with Linux mint (whatever I am searching for) for dummies. This helps some.
The best I’ve got is, it’s complicated.
This should be my line!
Overall my opinion is irrelevant, however, I think there is a huge difference in knowing a person votes vs how a person votes. The how should not be public, imo.
There used to be a good one called Tabliss. Not sure if it is still available. Very customizable.
I would not consider that theft. More a passing of the torch.
He also took Rose back to see her dad. She goofed, they went back again, saved him, caused a paradox, and he died anyway to put it all back.
Not the worst episode ever.

During the Doctor Who panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Disney and the BBC announced that The War Between The Land And The Sea — a new series written by Russell T. Davies and Pete McTighe — is on the way.
Rather than the Doctor, the new show will revolve around a group of humans as they work together to face the Sea Devils, a race of ancient, ocean-dwelling creatures who first appeared in Doctor Who back in 1972.
Jemma Redgrave and Alexander Devrient are set to reprise their roles as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart and Colonel Ibrahim, respectively, but they will also be joined by Russell Tovey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as characters not yet revealed.
Previously, Tovey and Mbatha-Raw both starred in Doctor Who —he as Titanic midshipman Alonso Frame, and she as Tish Jones — but it’s not clear whether that’s who they’ll be playing here.
The sixteenth time’s the charm….
Finally winning the lottery!!
They do not support dark mode on web pages if this is important to you. Reason given is easy to fingerprint.
This question reminded me of the old series Zoo. What happens when animals band together against man…first two seasons were decent enough
All companies are going to track you one way or another. This is our reality. We can hope for no tracking laws, which will most likely never happen, or, never use technology, which is not an option for the most part.
Not a great place to be, imo.
My insane thoughts are this, Microsoft wants all your data so they may use it to sell you something, from the advertisers they made money from by sharing your information.
Microsoft is also in bed with OpenAI. It seems OpenAI wants an operating system that will require you, as a user, surrendering to them full access and control of everything. https://gizmodo.com/openai-wants-to-control-your-computer-1851240566
Profit and control are the ultimate goal, imo.
In theory there should be an acceptable balance, somewhere. What this would look like I do not know.
Article quote “Mozilla will focus on bringing “trustworthy AI into Firefox.” To do so, it will bring together the teams that work on Pocket, Content and AI/Ml.”
Does not scream privacy friendly, imo
And depending on your car make, model, and year, there is constant surveillance/data collecting negating the owners “freedom”.
