Do you add 🤣 like a laugh track? You know what was said was unfunny, but maybe the emoticon will encourage people to laugh?

I’d say “addiction”.
You should probably get off the computer for a while and go outside.
It’s weird that you think people should be excited. This is just a forum for discussion, there’s really nothing exciting about it.
I know it’s not the same as woke, the word just hits the same level of annoyingness for me.
I’m all for shutting down those who support Russia right now, I just feel like using buzzwords makes it more difficult to take people seriously.
I almost never see this, but I see complaints about “tankies” all the time. I’m not even sure what a tankie is, but it seems about as stupid as the term “woke”.
Oook, that explains why my .world acct, and this one are so vastly different. I pretty much just see news and tech from this instance (and porn, obviously)
Is it possible to see every community, from every instance, in all?
That’s what I did on most of my accounts, the place just doesn’t make any sense, yet keeps filling my feed.
I feel like most people just ignore, or are unaware, of that rule. I definitely didn’t know about it, I’ve been to 196 a few times and never posted (and likely never will). My point is that most of those “rule” posts are likely regular users adding another meme layer to their shitpost.
You vs I is a possessive noun thing. I is possessive, you is not, so I gets capitalized, and you does not.
This is somehow less jarring. Didn’t expect that lol.
Funny thing is, I’m Canadian, and proper nouns was all I was taught as well. “The, in, and, etc.” look weird when they’re capitalized and not also the start of a sentence.
For someone outside your home, I would agree with this. But for someone in the house, especially within earshot, I feel it’s the exact opposite. Just talk to me, use your words, and tell me what you want.
Ahh ok. Then I retract my original comment.
No, that one did. Was that done differently than the one is the post? Or was the post one just an example not meant to lead anywhere?
Like the link they posted lol. Ya it just doesn’t work properly, it’s nice that they’re considering the stirage issue, but it simply doesn’t work.
Thanks for this, going to delete my lemmy.world account now.
If I start seeing meta on here, I’ll leave. I left facebook over a decade ago, and want nothing to do with it. This seems like an obvious no brainer.
How is this fauxbait? Girl looks like she’s 23
