I haven’t played Timberborn but I almost did pick it up on the spring sale, decided to get dotAGE instead to see what all the fuss was about and damn I love it. It’s a lot more of a worker placement game and is a roguelike so if that doesn’t interest you it might not be for you but damn it’s good so far.

I think it sounds to me like it just isn’t your thing. What you’re describing as a frustration is what I love about Elden Ring, you have to figure out every enemy and learn their patterns in order to succeed so every enemy is like it’s own little puzzle to solve. There’s no secret to avoid that part of the game besides maybe building INT and just avoiding fights which does not sound fun tbh

I definitely would love to see a rework of the network stack at large but idk how you’d do it without an insane amount of cooperation among tech giants which seems sort of impossible

Just had a Sneepo Bar from Egypt the other day and it is basically a snickers bar except like really, extremely fucking good (it’s like actual nougat in there boys) and now all I want is more Sneepo.

I worked with a rich ranch girl at a Restaurant once, she was 17 maybe just doing the summer serving with us, and I was playing music and taking requests and I asked her what she liked and she said “none of it I hate Music.” I said “what do you do in the car?” she said “listen to talk radio or podcasts” and this just… Baffled me. She was not good at her job but after she told me that I couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for her.
