I will pirate anything from them that looks even remotely interesting. But I’ve never given them a cent and I sure as hell never will.
Yeah, I have no experience with that side of the series except that it’s less arcade-y than Horizon.
I agree. But, as I’ve gotten older I’ve realised that the cold gets slightly less fun. Still, fuck the heat.
This is a fair point, but these companies have enough money that they could set aside a small team that just tries new things. Whether the games succeed or fail shouldn’t matter. It should be a testing ground for finding new things to base a new IP around or just add to existing series or something.
The team should be allowed to take their time and just make something they’re passionate about and players should be able to get involved. Feedback should be taken seriously and used to improve what the team puts out.
I know this is an absolute pipe dream, but I wish companies would do this for the sake of keeping the business moving forward if not for the players.
Motorsport or Horizon? Horizon 4 was my first exposure to the series and I thought it was pretty good.
I loved the concept of Carbon. I just wish it had the driving physics of Most Wanted before it. Carbon just felt terrible to me.
Yeah Mint was great when I first got curious and that hasn’t changed. Ubuntu always has little issues and random error reporting dialogues and shit. Never had that issue with Mint. Mint also doesn’t force Snaps on you and gives you a more traditional interface. It just seems better for beginners.
These days I feel like Ubuntu should be tried after you have some more experience with troubleshooting and fixing things with Mint.
The PSP and PS3 are the only PS consoles I haven’t owned. But after the 5 I’m done. There is absolutely no point in buying another console from them after the disappointment the 5 has been. It’s a really nice console and I love the controller but the games just haven’t made it worth it for me. I’ll stick to PC gaming and emulation from now on.
Consider opening up that PS4 and cleaning out any dust. It doesn’t fix the noise completely, but it can make a big difference.
Pretty sure it’s --no-preserve-root or something similar.
I absolutely agree. I mostly meant if more people get involved it won’t be seen as only unwashed weirdos liking it.
I’m actually glad to see people being more accepting. Anime needs some more “normal” fans outside of Japan.
Sadly, there’s a reason people thought it was weird and bullied the Naruto-running nerds. Now, more and more people are liking it. That means it’s more socially acceptable and there should be less bullying. At least, that’s my hope.
Actual, real adults? People capable of consent and making their own choices? Absolutely. Doesn’t change my opinion on fictional characters that are made to look like children when making them look older has absolutely no effect on the story.
I can’t argue this point or agree with it. I honestly haven’t read or watched enough media with characters like this because it’s not my thing.
I just added that because it fit the earlier duck metaphor. And I’m willing to bet money there are actual characters like that as well.
That is an actual person that is in their 20s or 30s, regardless of being blessed with youthful looks. Not a fictional character that is purposely designed to look like a child for no good reason other than getting lolicon fans interested.
That is fair. Just noticed that your response was downvoted more than others and thought that might be why.
Fair enough. I’m just tired of the excuse that the reader/watcher is supposed to believe that the very obvious child is supposed to be hundreds or even thousands of years old and that somehow magically makes it not weird or creepy to view this character sexually.
I love manga and anime myself, but I just feel like this kind of shit makes everyone that enjoys this form of Japanese media look bad.
Glad to hear it.
