Ok, but what if an entire programming language is made of whitespace?

Unless you are retiring in the next decade, it is highly advisable to invest a 401k in the stock market. You get significantly higher returns over the long run. And any losses due to a recession are more than made up for by the significantly higher returns every other year.
When you are nearing retirement (5-10 years out), that is when you want to put the money into something safe and stable like bonds or CDs. That way if there is a recession as you retire, it won’t affect your fund.
Stocks are 293% higher today than they were at the peak of 2007. Even if they bought all of their stock at that peak right before the 2008 recession, the market had fully recovered by 2012. It isn’t the market keeping them from retiring…
On that note, it makes a ton of sense to take full advantage of 401k plans. At least put it enough for the company match to max out, and preferably put more in to cap out the annual limit for it. That isn’t possible for everyone, but it’s both tax advantaged and pre-tax money, so an extra $500/mo into the 401k is NOT $500 removed from your post-tax pay.
Even before, people would often work later into life. Many people are fucking terrible with money and if spent poorly, you may need a job even with the pension.
I’m personally with you. I prefer to manage my own money rather than hope my employer is solvent 40 years from now to pay a pension.
Some people don’t want to to think about investing in their own retirement, and they see the pension as a more stable and safe solution.
So blame them for being too stupid to see your worth…You’re waiting a company worthy of your talents finds you.
Careful with this. If you legitimately feel you are entitled to be hired by a specific employer, you are almost certainly less likely to get the job. Nobody wants to deal with entitled people.
At the end of my interviews, before saying bye,I ask what I could have done better. Almost always received constructive criticism. I highly recommend it.
Pain, absolute pain. Can we please not have another debate?
We can tie that in with shorter campaign seasons too.
Yeah, kinda sounds like he should put the whole game down. That monthly sub isn’t cheap either. Shit adds up.
Watched cop shows
There is also an aspect that people more likely to get caught are also those more likely to have uncleanly homes. People with their shit together slip under the radar much more often. Hell, even being able to stick to ‘only commit one crime at a time’ is a pretty big deal. Ex: don’t have drugs in your car with expired plates. A bunch of people on cop shows get caught for dumb shit like that.
We have those IRL as well, condos and townhouses. Many people choose to go for those.
Honestly, given how annoying the alternatives are, I would say just buy a USB drive and put the bios file on there. You can get very good ones for under $20 and almost free ones if you don’t mind having an old tiny one.
Best we got is a new Skyrim version. What do you mean you don’t want to buy the game you already own again? We made 20 different versions, all just for you to buy!
Bank transfers are slow. It is generally taken out of the account the next business day, sits in escrow for a few days, then appears in the destination account where it takes another day to clear. About a week total.
Though, if it gets held for suspected fraud or needs to cross international boundaries, it can sit in that escrow account for much longer.
OC spray, aka ‘oleoresin capsicum spray’, aka pepper spray. People often get it for self defense against humans or bears. The bear version tends to be a much larger and stronger bottle.
I don’t normally open carry, though to do regularly concealed carry. Have been told by others a few times they were happy I was carrying, made them feel better when we happened to get into a seedy area. Luckily nothing came of it, and hopefully it stays that way forever.
Doubtful. The story in GTA 5 was much weaker than in RDR 2, and Rockstar’s direction with GTA has been shifting increasingly heavily on multiplayer and micro-transactions. GTA 6 will almost assuredly continue leaning increasingly heavily on multiplayer and micro-transactions.
I’m not sure how much time you are given and how much ‘hands on’ is desired, but you could buy a bunch of cheap, old, used desktops (that all use the same parts) and teach the kids what the various parts do (CPU, GPU, motherboard, PSU, SSD, RAM). Then have them build the computers and install linux on them.
Maybe pre-wire the PSU to most of the parts to save time during the build day(s). You may also want to have the CPUs pre-installed so you don’t get bent pins galore.
This entire idea would be massively benefited by a TA that could assist working with groups.
