Sure but that is most open source programs. It is not the hacker doing it in their spare time. The majority of open source devs are working for a company getting paid to program it. People have to eat.

NixOS is a nightmare. It works then you want to do something that can be done on another distro and you can’t. Same just went to silver blue at least acts like a regular distro.
You mean old code that has bugs that are no just being discovered. Battle hardened code and many eyeballs means nothing.
Had isn’t Linux faster now. I know on the very resource restrained box I used li ix had noticeably faster network. Went from 500 ish to full gigabit speeds.
Yes people are also like you can code c safely yet it doesn’t seem to be that way. With the amount of bugs found over and over again.
Yes there is never old code with bugs that have been sitting there for decades.
Don’t thinknits possible by on write safe c code. Otherwise we would not have these issues time and time again. But yes its only the idiots begin don’t know how to code. Projects are big and complicated itsneasy to make mistakes.
That is not even remotely true comment. Piracy was really big in the early 2000’s lat 1990’s and it has not come back to that state since then.
Yes a monkey. All the vulnerabilities that have happened over the decades are just bad c programmers. So the question is are there any good c programmers?
Why would so many be in the States?
What did you expect they are using the same programs.
Sure might be on the rise but still down from its peak.
Of how much “militsry” contributed to FOSS. Or how Linux is no longer the lone programmer hacking on code in there spare time. But the vast majority of FOSS is done by companies.
If you think that’s a military take over. Don’t look under the rug of Linux/foss at large.
NixOS is never going mainstream. When the answer to everything is oh just write a package for it. Unless their is a nice gui to edit your configuration file also it well always be niche.
N is not modern in any sense of the word. I think 6 is more used then you would think. All ISP I know are giving out 6 access points and have for awhile.
Good luck with that. What switch are you going to run? What access point what gateway for your ISP.
Except as you said yourself and I have also noticed it’s buggy as hell and only going to get worse.
If we listened to the grey beards there’d be no gui. Just a. Cli interface.
