Started Valheim again with a friend of mine. Having a blast! No mods but we kinda wanted to add a few for an immersive no-map run.

I started playing Enderal, the full overhaul mod for Skyrim. Seems quite fun. Maybe 10h in now.
Full price books? Digital. Then second hand physical (rarely) and books from a library.
Man, I just installed debian 12 with wayland (Gnome or KDE can’t remember) to play around and get instant headache from blurry fonts with my 1440p display with no scaling (Firefox and settings window are blurry af). No clue how to fix it, tried out few of the things I found online and none of them works.
Next plan is to try another distro and hope for the best.
Black Russian is my thing most of the time. Also gin sour without egg is great.
Chili and bean soups sound great, I’ll take a look, thanks!
Yeah maybe, haven’t really looked at what I could do with one. Though they’re probably a decent bit more expensive.
Got a robo vacuum (Roborock q revo). Amazing stuff. It runs every day and the first floor has never been cleaner.
Air fryer has been fun though I’m still trying to learn what works well with it.
3D printer (Bambulab A1)! So fun.
I just realised that I’ve spent like 2k on gadgets in the past two months oops.
Though I really really want a rice cooker but haven’t pulled the trigger… yet.
Something a bit cheaper is this home made bread that needs no kneading and is amazing.
3dl water (1.3 cups) pouch of dry yeast (11g, 0.38oz) 1tsp salt 1tbs maple syrup (or whatever syrup) 2dl of dried oats (0.85 cups) 5dl of wheat flour (2.1 cups) 2tbs neutral oil (haven’t tried olive) Seeds if you like!
Mix up dry ingredients. Add lukewarm water and mix (add a splash or two extra if it looks like not everything is mixed into the dough). Do not knead, just mix. Add oil and mix slightly. Put a baking sheet in a bread pan and pour the dough in it. Add a spritz of water on the dough surface (not necessary though). Cover and leave in room temperature for 30min. Bake at 175C (350f) for 45-60min.
I think I’ll make one.
Yes and you can just change it to whatever you like. I have it at ctrl shift A.
Oh definitely, which is why I use it.
Huh, weird that I seem to have ao much issues with it. Could be due to mostly ordering from Finnish sites and the fields are often in Finnish.
It seems really bad at filling CC info though. Like, I don’t think it works at all. I always need to copy the number separately.
I still use it but it is annoying.
A Amazon? I am way more triggered about that than I should.
I disagree, I’d get one if I could use it as a second monitor! Though if you can’t navigate in the “screen”, then it could be difficult. But yeah AR definitely would make things muuuch more interesting.
I was more thinking of it being like a heads up display you know? It wouldn’t be AR at that point sure, just a screen.
Meta said in a statement that privacy was top of mind when designing the glasses. “We know if we’re going to normalize smart glasses in everyday life, privacy has to come first and be integrated into everything we do,” the company said.
Ha.
I don’t think Meta has the same idea of privacy than the people do. I mean, Meta having all the data hidden in their servers, being fed to AI and given to advertisement algorithms is privacy when the data is “anonymized” and held onto securely. Right?
I don’t think that this catches on. However, the second this is included with lenses that act as transparent screens for AR stuff, it’ll be flying off the shelves. No, not the very first model, not the second probably, but the one made by a large corporation that actually does it well.
Though tbh just the lenses / screens would do it, camera is just extra. So I actually think first they will get the lenses done and camera stuff ia added later when the rest is already commonly used.
Wasn’t it in the end of Inception that the wheel or whatever wobbles which meant that they’re still in a dream? I feel like I remember thinking that the ending isn’t real due to it.
What? The crackle sound is from thermal expansion.
Probably civ 6. I have like 20h under my belt in the last two years, maybe it’ll go up during the weekend!
