Basically title. When I refresh my feed after commenting on a post, the post no longer appears. Either in my main feed or in the specific community. I can still see the post and comments by clicking through from my comment and profile. I still get replies and can post further comments. This seems to be happening regardless of instance, I’ve tried it on both lemmy.world and other instances so I don’t know if it would be a problem with federation.
Or is this some setting in Boost that I have toggled?

Under your account settings do you have “show read posts” disabled?
This was it, thank you! I was looking under general and appearance settings, did not think to check account settings.

Do. you have “hide on read” or a similar toggled in settings?
I don’t have boost anymore but this sounds like it’s automatically hiding posts that are marked as read which can happen when you interact with the post by commenting or even upvoting in some cases.
