    Something to note: if you’re VRAM limited, Linux will perform worse and it’s an actual issue.

        oh boy, i tried like hell to get away from desktop. gaming laptops in the 2009+ era were kicking off some good potentials but. at double the cost of a desktop and half the performance. i ended that streak after an Asus 09 ROG with a 9600GT…i even tried stand alone GPUs but chrrreeeist the bottlenecks. maybe the markets gotten better but ive not looked at it in 10 years

            Yeah gaming on laptops only makes sense with streaming from a PC that has an actual GPU and an actual cooling solution. Or super simple stuff like papers please or ftl or something
