I love how they advertise “up to 20% off a steam deck,” but that’s only for refurbished and there’s none in stock.
Grabbed Synthetik. Absolute banger of a game, already have 15 hours in it
What’s good this time around? In my cart so far I have Until Then, Disco Elysium, and MS Flight Simulator.
Pacific Drive is in there now too.
Don’t buy Disco Elysium. Pirate it.
Original devs got screwed over by the publisher and have encouraged folks to pirate it as not to let the publisher profit from their shittiness.
I get the principled reason to do this. But most people aren’t set up to pirate. And even if they were, it’s inconvenient to have games not attached to their steam library. I don’t think anyone should deprive themselves of this masterpiece.
If the prospect of pirating is holding you back, just buy it. The game is too good to miss out
I love disco Elysium
A strictly anti-capitalist fever dream adventure RPG getting completely consumed and milked by greedy capitalists who added nothing of value to its creation is peak this timeline.
I picked up Duck Detective and Nova lands. Been in need of some new Steam Deck games and these seem perfect!
Duck Detective sounds like a shameless rip-off of Ducktective. Alex Hirsch would probably love that
Hello fellow lemmies! Any recommendations for new must have indie games?
I don’t know how must have it is, but I’ve been enjoying Isles of Sea and Sky, a sokoban type puzzle game currently 10% off until July 11th (currently $17.99). I’m pretty sure it’s maybe a month or two old at least.
Crab Champions is not exactly new (I think it’s been in early access since 2023), but it’s really fun and currently just $7.49
Monster Sanctuary! Scratches the Pokemon itch but way better than any Pokemon game ever has
Love some diver Dave, and balto.
Can confirm Dave the Diver will zen you out and make you feel good inside.
I wouldn’t call Dave the Diver new (released exactly a year ago) nor indie (Mintrocket is a subdivison of Nexon). Yet it’s something that can be recommended wholeheartedly.
Couple of games in no particular order that are pretty new and can be considered as indie:
Celeste is 90% off, Kingdom Come Deliverance is 80% off, Braid Anniversary Edition is 75% off. All worth it imo.
Celeste is amazing. Still need to beat it
The second KCD is coming out later this year too so nows the time to try it!
Initial scroll through looks pretty meh. There a list of good’ns going yet?
Edit-
From another thread, looks like Witcher 3 is 90% off. If you haven’t played it yet, now’s the time!
Slay the spire is like 8 bucks and disco elsyium is like 4 but that’s about it.
I’m new to Steam and pc gaming, grabbed an OLED deck a little bit ago. I’m looking for recommendations for FPS and RPGs that I can play offline. I’ve never played any of the Elder Scrolls stuff should I grab one of them? What do you suggest?
Shadow of war is 2.99 CAD
Decent game to quit about 30h in because while it’s good and fun to play, it’s incredibly repetitive.
