From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸
Started reading the article and I totally get the tone now.
I appreciate the added context as I hadn’t had a chance to read the actual article yet. It could use a better title though. In the context of being on a a UN website, the satire gets lost completely.
I’ve seen it firsthand from people before and I’m just like… why? Why do you think this way? It’s just cowardice at the end of the day. They’ll say those things because it’s an easy escape from being called out for having fucked views that allow fascism and corporate interests to flourish.
“I’m just asking questions” is so fucking annoying. You and I both know you’re not and you’re trying to frame this like you’re not the sociopath in this situation. It’s so disingenuous.
Even if this article was some sort of thought experiment, what the fuck value does it have? Even if the outcome was very much “I’m against this,” I’m not sure what the point is, unless it does a good job of explaining what kind of fucked up things this has lead to in society (like sweat shops and modern day slavery). Even then, this kind of nonsense serves wealthy scum.
Edit: the article is very much satire. Thanks for the added context and commentary!
My (non-)issue is more with the fact that she looks too polished for a character that exists in a post-apocalyptic world. Both her clothes and some facial characteristics, like the perfect eyebrows.
This game is already great IMO. It really doesn’t need a remaster.
Not sure if this is a perfect fit, but I use http-server when I need to spin up something super rudimentary that works out of box.
Edit: sorry, no UI for that one, but the commands for it are pretty simple to understand. You could try something like XAMPP instead. Portainer is nice for spinning stuff up quickly, but it has a slightly steeper learning curve.
I should note that you can run this in any folder you want to serve files from.
In a duopoly, it ultimately doesn’t matter. But there’s no fucking way I’d ever vote for Donald Trump. I don’t hate myself that much.
The US created Israel and now we fund them and their genocide endlessly, but AIPAC money also permeates US politics. It’s a wild web of bullshit. Idk how any of that is antisemitic though. The only part I see as antisemitic was when the US and Britain didn’t want to take the Jewish diaspora themselves.
This is why I stopped identifying myself as full-stack and only do front end.
Project Zomboid. That’s the most recent game I can think of where I reduced the difficulty (and that’s coming from someone that has nearly 400 hours into Elden Ring). It’s not that the game is tougher than ER or anything like that. It has a ton of cool mechanics and detail that are really enjoyable if you’re into zombie survival games, but the zombies can really swarm you in that game and you won’t live long.
It also has sandbox mode where there’s no zombies and you can focus on farming, building, etc.
Hey, I’ll take any ceasefire at this point. If she goes through with it, I’m all for it. But history doesn’t make me optimistic, and she’s using the same 2 state solution stuff we’ve heard before and it sounds like appeasement.
The US has gone so deep on this venture that backing out risks basically everything. Members of the Knesset have already stated that if Netanyahu agrees to anything that stops or reduces the genocide, they’ll kickoff a coup. So I’m not optimistic that any president in our lifetime will finally put an end to this, and words amount to nothing.
I’m gonna wager that the result is the same at the end of the day because the same amount of bombs fall. I see a trend. “Delayed”, “temporarily delayed”, “threatened to withhold”.
I’m on an iPhone 12 and my backup phone is a Nexus 5 that has probably had about 10 different ROMs on it lol. 🤷
Sounds like some liberal shit. The same folks that probably shame third party voters and are okay with third parties being blocked from getting a place on the ballot.
Republican Party: openly supports Israel and pushes for the genocide. Continues to fund Israel. States all of this stuff. Overt.
Democratic Party: covertly continues to fund Israel, but knows that they can’t publicly say that. So they frame it with bullshit platitudes like asking Netanyahu to “reduce civilian casualties”. They’ll use the term “ceasefire” but will never push a true ceasefire. Covert.
Obligatory notes:
I used to believe this until I came to the conclusion that the ruling class won’t ever allow their powers to be reduced or removed.
I have unlimited and I’ve seen a few people take 2 weeks off consecutively. So it seems like the company is pretty flexible and doesn’t put artificial limitations on it. That said, I’m pretty sure even a month off wouldn’t fix the damage that’s been done to my brain from years stacked upon years of redlining it to write code and solve problems. I find as I get older I need more time off to truly disconnect.
“We’ll keep the genocide going but change our public language to make it sound like a ceasefire is on the table.”
Yeah, started reading the original article and I totally get the tone now. Definitely worked well on me!
