Glad to know that option is available, I’ve been using DDG for years and use the AI assist like once a week when I have a really specific search about a movie or scene or actor or event happening 14 years ago going off memory. After about the 3rd search I actually get useful information from the AI assist.

Most recently I searched for “movie scene with slow motion cannonballs flying around while ship explodes” because I could remember that gif but not the movie. No search results were helpful, nor images or videos but the AI assist said it was a scene from the 3rd pirates of the Caribbean.

He was good in House of Guuci. I think he should stick to minor roles or tertiary characters.

I thought he was good in House of Guuci as a cousin who is only on screen for like 20 minutes of the movie. His other roles leading up to Tron Ares I have not liked one bit

I’m typing this from a Nothing Phone 2 I got about a year and a half go and I love it. Still gets monthly updates, stills runs fast and is updated to A15. Battery is starting to slip but as long as I’m around 40-50% charge before a trio or going out that’s more than enough. Really like the nothingOS customizability, reminds me of the OG oneplus phones but not what they are currently.

Asus would be nice, I’ve liked most of the zenphones but either didn’t support my carrier/bands or something like that or they stopped allowing bootloader unlocking which is why I didn’t think they’d be on the list but this would be a great way to jump back in as an option for enthusiasts.

Also would love for it to be RAZR, I really want one but also want GrapheneOS but hesitant to buy a pixel.

They’ll tease some cool trailers, maybe a release date but mainly a preorder to get peoples money and THEN probably never release it.

Not sure if you already knew but Bitwarden does have a self hosted option, the docker-compose stack runs great and they have been working on a singular image that just needs a DB. It all runs great depending on what you need and supports the actual bitwarden team.

For me it’s Bitwarden, hosting their stack in 2018 right after getting my first job launched me into everything else.

Been using this for a handful of months and the large updates in the last 2 months have been great. My phone running antennapod is my main client and use pinepods for sync and backup and some light listening on non mobile clients a couple times a week.

Putting drives to sleep reduces their lifespan? I thought it was some calculus involved where if they were offline for long enough to offset the cost of the spinup during a time period it was fine. Either way I have an unraid server with 6 disks being put to sleep after 4 hours inactivity and been running that for years. Have had to replace 2 pre owned drives and 1 new WD red that was under warranty in several years.

As an IT nerd I got one of these and put it on a different subnet and it’s not able to reach out to anything external but my phone can hit it from a different subnet. Thing works great.

I’m surprised to see the dislike, I try and catch most A24 movies and am part of some groups on other sites to track and discuss them, most of the time they’re solid IMO.

But on this community most people seem to gear heavily negative to pretty much everything that’s posted so I’m not really surprised.

Those are incredibly impressive numbers I had no idea she was even in that many things over the last few years. Statistics from the article are promising too, women directed features are up from 4% to 13%. Hopefully that trend continues. There also seems to be lots of opportunity on the TV side as well. Mythic quest has been promoting lots of women directors in the last two seasons.

Plenty of other theaters in the US do discount days, AMC is just catching up now but probably too late.
