Fediverse is designed to handle servers with less than stellar reliability.
Not knowing yourself; it’s a lot like dating in that there’s big dreams and ideas but the reality of what is needed on the daily often doesn’t mesh. I find it helps to talk to other employees and ask about their job and roles to get an envelope of what the company actually needs vs. what they say they need.

It has wired audio out, right? You can get earphone-to-bluetooth adapters and connect the car that way. They also make devices that transmit over FM frequencies short distances so you can tune in to your iPod.

Problem is, people want a silver bullet and there just isn’t one.
You need to create an economy that works for everyone where skilled workers from all professions can be successful. You can’t cram everybody into one job and expect everything to just work out.
Just about all jobs are important, and all workers deserve a living wage and fair compensation.
No amount of Band-Aid job stuffing is going to make up for a leadership that doesn’t believe that everyone ought to be able to live a good life.
