I’m still stuck at the tea phase, but I’ll get there
I thought doomguy was me. The silent protagonist is kind of the new hero.
Lol yeah, that exactly sounds like ruminating / spiraling. Although I believe there might be forms of meditation that have you follow your thoughts.
Probably too advanced for most of us, though.
Or ILHPWTWTLT?WAN?WITHSSaTDSUtPiaM for short.
This game looks kind of fun 👀
Creative director: lose the feet
It was actually a really slick IM client for like a hot minute.
Left unchallenged, they’ll start inserting ads at your work, where you don’t control the devices. Mark my words. B2B ad and surveillance tech. The profiles will get dumped into the same data lakes, for thirsty ad ghouls to lap at. Just one big web of corporate iniquity, where they sell each other shit no one needs or wants.
Left unchallenged, anyway.
As a service meant to inform people of things they could benefit from, I see it. Like, we have public service announcements about food banks, giveaway days, and fun events. Honestly, if it was done for something other than profit, I’m not even sure the term “advertising” really applies - at least not how we usually use it.
I find reading a book or writing a diary entry works well during this “sleep runway” period.
To be fair, a lot of things would have gone differently. In fact, everything.
How would you improve it?
It’s not my favourite of theirs, but I also don’t have to put out a regular comic about philosophers.
Well, OS has nothing to do with rectangle coloring :)
I suppose that is true. I think most people view “the OS” as synonymous with the kernel and what associated applications enable you to do (obligatory GNU/Linux copypasta). That’s usually how I think of it, though I know it’s not accurate.
It’s a bit like including the sinks and shower when you talk about “the plumbing” in your house. Depends on your experience and what level of abstraction you’re thinking in. I see by your comments that you’re using a much more rigorous definition of “OS.” :)
Yes. They’re in the meme.
