There’s been a few over the years but the 2004 one was directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and that was the one with Thomas Jane and John Travolta. Then in 2008 warzone came out directed by Lexi Alexander with Ray Stevenson and it just didn’t didn’t feel right.
Adi does a great job telling a story and his gritty style is perfect for the punisher, I think it would have made the 2004 one tame 😂
When this came out sometime around Dredd being released I really wanted to see Adi make a punisher movie with Jane, it would have been amazing with those two working together.
I don’t remember him being like that early on so if he is/was it probably influenced from user interactions and let’s be honest, people could be pretty toxic. I agree though about Flying Squid, they seem pretty cool.

The game uses archive files to package the game files and if one file changes then that breaks all the mods, and since there are several key files it essentially breaks that entire category of mod. So they aren’t as crazy as they sound even if you are correct.
Bethesda games are the only games I’ve ever played that don’t support ultrawide. Don’t get me wrong I’ve played other games that were released without it or it was buggy but in each case I put in a bug report and within a week or a month they patched it. Bethesda must have so much technical debt and spaghetti code that they can’t do it and they don’t care enough about their players to even try.
Microsoft certainly tries it’s best to keep you locked into their ecosystem by making it inconvenient but not impossible to leave though that’s not the real reason, it’s security. Businesses and especially governments are scared of nation state hackers contributing malicious code to open source products and falsely assume it’s safer to use closed source software because those incidents aren’t public. There’s so much great software out there I’d love to use and the first question I’m asked when I bring it up is can you prove China hasn’t contributed code?
Businesses shouldn’t be allowed to purchase residential houses, they can do apartments but no family homes, even if it’s split.
Political donations should be illegal except from a private civilian who must follow all rules and limitations. If a corporation thinks a specific politician is in their best interest the corporation’s then the only option should be employees should be the ones to donate their personal money up to their limit and not funded from the company itself, a business or pact should have no sway in an election and should only be influenced by individual voters. That way the individual can decide if that politician is best suited for the country or just their business.
I don’t think paying bills is a flex he’d understand, in fact he probably thinks anyone that doesn’t cheat the system is a fool.

Agreed, I think they’re hedging on the amount of people who leave will be less than the increased revenue of those who stay. Considering the ones leaving were never going to allow as revenue anyway what do they really lose?

Companies love to install backdoors and proprietary software for drivers that act suspiciously like spyware, it’s their favorite past time. So while the OS may be trustworthy the additional software they install is not.
I wanted to do my own self-hosted storage but for the cost and features I went with Dropbox. It’s $10 a month if you prepay for the year otherwise it’s $12 and you get two terabytes of storage. For that you get all the same things most self-hosted solutions will offer including 30 days of versioning/backups. Additionally it’s pretty popular so most software has built in integration which is convenient but not something you need. Bottom line is doing your own storage can be cheap but adding off-site backups gets expensive and just going straight to off-site backups (cloud storage) is going to be close to the $10-$12 dollars you’ll pay anyway but you have to do all the work.
