Sadly the amount and variance of videos on peertube pales in comparison to youtube. I need my Sherlock Holmes audio books 😩

I don’t think they’ve ever tried to destroy art. If you’re talking about the sunflowers, they knew it was behind glass. Their whole MO is doing shocking things to get attention to the cause and to point out that these things will be gone if we don’t stop burning fossil fuels.
“The master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house”
I recently did a very simple PR for this, adding keywords so I don’t keep forgetting the name of the app and not being able to find it 😅
Ooh I use apps that use the Magic Wormhole library. There’s a linux app for it called Warp and several android apps, all FOSS.
Signal is a nice suggestion but is based in the US meaning they could be subpoenaed and legally not allowed to say. It’s unlikely you’d be targeted though, unless you’re a very high-profile person. If you’re concerned about where servers are being run and who by then matrix is a great alternative.
vlang might fit your request pretty nicely. It’s a bit patchy in places but mainly stable and gets pretty frequent updates
I’ve not used it much but I’m pretty sure GNOME Boxes can be used as a UI for QEMU, KVM, and libvirt .
It’s all dependant on the community, if there’s missing data that you can add, please do! StreetComplete is a very acessible way to contribute
I’ve recently spent a fair amount of time trying to peel my blog away from my existing framework due to how much I hated using docker to just build a website, it doesn’t need to be this heavyweight.
I was the change I want to be in the world and have made !dropout@lemmy.blahaj.zone, hopefully people use it 😅
The reason they stopped directly targeting oil infrastructure in the UK is because the oil/gas giants bought injunctions (private laws) banning protest near them, leading to people going to prison for holding signs on a grass verge outside an oil refinery.
I’m immediately wary of anyone using this meme format
I really want there to be a community for Dropout as I love their content but I haven’t found a good space to talk with others about them that doesn’t involve some corporation harvesting my data.
I just wish they’d support Linux like Valve have
See also the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, in which the runners lap one city block 5,649 times over 52 days. The prize is typically a T-shirt, a DVD, or a small trophy.
I’m surprised Magic Wormhole wasn’t on here. There’s a gnome app for it called Warp and several android apps, all FOSS.
If I want to keep a site longer than a day I bookmark it. I have no clue how anyone can cope with this many tabs, it’s like an email backlog but for your browser.
Lots of these games were designed on and for CRT screens and they look worse on a modern one without filtering.
